Last week proposal on format change

The current format works well with a few exceptions. One of them is that the final table play revolves around the majority of stacks under 10 big blinds.

For the final week I would like to propose a deeper stack MTT format. 1. Increase blind level times to 15 or 20 mins. 2. Opening stack size increased to 5k.

This would make for possible more interesting play than push or shove short stack poker.

I agree 100%, the amount of chips and blinds makes it mostly a push or fold game. A longer tourney is always better if you want more than bingo poker.

I agree as well. It's all in for at least half of the final table every hand.

I like the short structure. If there was a long structure it wouldn't be worth the time to play the tournies. If there was a lot of money at stake I'd agree with you, but for a 1K points prize pool I'm not going to want to play 4 hours to make the "money."

i agree with Ian, its a careful balance that SBR is doing the best they can with.

I like it fast, I only play turbo when I'm on full tilt. I can't stand people that just sit around forever folding, raising blinds faster makes them fork out chips.

Yeah this takes the luck out of it more. Longer blinds and larger stacks lead to better poker.

It is more about picking your spots and not being forced to coin flip 30mins into a tourney.

Maybe increase the levels to 10 minutes, and add in a few more blinds levels so they don't raise quite as fast.

its a decently fast game, but its sbr's game i will play whatever the format. i appreciate the game ty sbr

Thanks for all the input......appreciate hearing from both sides on this....appreciate sbr for doing this....I am going insane in todays tourney...my style cant get better than 4th all the time....large stack or die time
