How many people have played in the WSOP?

What year? How many were in the tournament? and What place did finish?

I personally haven't played in the WSOP -- hoping to in 2009.

I haven't played in a main events but played a few of the prelims with a grand total of zero cashes... not sure about playing this year or not (although I've, unsuccessfully, played a few sats online) but with most places (all?) paying you for your seat in cash I would be hard pressed to make the trip...
