Doyles room moves to Yatahay poker network
Doyle's Room Moves to Yatahay Poker Network

Las Vegas, Nevada – Januray 28th, 2011 In a move to offer its players a customized poker experience and deliver everything they want in a poker room, Doyles Room is moving to the Yatahay Poker Network effective today.
New and existing players can start enjoying the new software immediately, (built exclusively for Doyles Room), by launching the game client and downloading the update when prompted.
Current player accounts will be automatically migrated to the new platform. This will allow players to continue enjoying the thrill of playing cards with the Doyles Room community of players, including Doyle Brunson himself, and his Brunson 10 pros.
The move to the Yatahay Poker Network marks the start of a new direction for Doyles Room, one that will give the online poker site further control of its Destiny. With the move to the new platform comes an array of new benefits that the DoylesRoom.com community has been asking for. Players will experience industry-leading customer support, with telephone and chat support returning to the online poker site's suite of help options.
"With our new software, we're able to do our own thing in terms of promotions, software features and customer service." said Doyle Brunson. "For our players, that means a tailored poker experience with more rewarding promotions and incentives. I'm personally excited about what's ahead."
Same network as 5 dimes, trupoker and bookmaker

just downloaded now and support answered in less then 10 seconds because i needed a new nickname, account balance was also there.

Not sure if it was a good move, but if you combined them together then its a ok move. Kentucky was banned at cake network but now i can play since they changed networks. They do have some good tourneys on there.

I'm pumped, Cake sucks so much. Talk to support if you don't have RB on your Doyle's account.

when i first read this thread i thought yatahay was an independent network that doylesroom made, then i went to yatahay website and it's the same sh*tty software that bookmaker, 5dimes, and true poker use with the 3D characters. They should have just stayed on the cake network because that software is 100x better. Either way though i don't care because i always thought doylesroom sucked anyways.

Oh and i researched yatahay on google before reading the bottom of the thread where you stated same software as bookmaker, 5dimes, and true poker lol. that network seriously does suck though so good luck to doylesroom.

Yata..who? Sorry I never even heard of this network. Here's a no brainier. Why don't they go back to their original independent network that they had when they first opened their doors? I would rather play at independent networks than these affiliated network types. The only way you will get me to play there is...if you are offering freerolls (but not to sound cheap just secure.)

Doyle's Room was never an independent room. They were originally a part of Tribeca Tables, a network that mostly catered mostly to European customers and had extremely soft games. When the UIGEA passed Tribeca was forced to drop its American customers due to the network's parent company being publicly listed on the London stock exchange. Instead of dropping their American customers, Doyle's room moved to the microgaming network, but shortly after they made the switch microgaming stopped allowing customers from the 14 US states that had outlawed online gambling. This caused Doyle's room to switch networks yet again in the beginning of '09 to the Cake network. Now that the Cake network appears to be disintegrating, Doyle's room has jumped to its 4th network.

Personally, I think this is a great move for Yatahay. They've probably just doubled their pool of players and Doyle's room will likely bring their own CS infrastructure to the network, which the network badly needs.

Doyle is history now, Yatashit is horrible.

In one of the more expected moves given the number of rumors flying across the online poker world over the past two weeksthe namesake poker room of poker legend Doyle Brunson, DoylesRoom, is moving networks for the second time in roughly two years. DoylesRoom has officially moved from the Cake Poker Network to the much smaller Yatahay Poker Network starting immediately.
The reason for the move appears to be DoylesRoom new ability to dictate their own promotions and rewards system while offering a more comprehensive range of customer service options. Players will experience a new piece of software and other custom features that they felt they could not attain from the Cake Network.
The Yatahay Poker Network is a US-friendly poker network that currently has 9 poker skins including their newest addition of DoylesRoom. The network is one of the smallest in the industry, but with the Doyle Brunson name should add a great deal of credibility to the small network, but it is a serious uphill battle to convert players to a new network even with the name of Doyle Brunson attached to it.
Two things remain to be seen in the coming weeks and months with this move. One, how the move will effect the already hurt Cake Network? And, two, will DoylesRoom retain the same number of

Yeah not too thrilled here I just signed up for DoylesRoom recently and now they move over so I have two accounts at different rooms on Yatahay network what's the point I wish I would have saved my ** fee depositing at Doyles.

The Yatahay network is actually ok good tourneys soft games but lacking traffic, maybe this will change they seem to be trying to grow a little bit.

However if Cake is in trouble I suppose Doyles had to do SOMETHING to get out while the gettin is good.

BIG PROBLEM though is the software since the last update a few weeks ago it crashes pretty consistently when I play in tourneys, every 5-25 minutes. Not sure if this is due to traffic, a bug in tourneys, or just cruddy software, but chatting with other players I'm not the only one with this issue. There was another update in the last few days so lets hope it's fixed.

If it IS traffic related I'm thinking by adding the Doyles player base the crashes will only increase hopefully the issues are fixed, but I guess I'll have to decide if I want to suck up another ** fee to withdraw from Doyles and go somewhere else or wait and see what happens.

It was posted (rumor?) on SBR that 5Dimes will be LEAVING Yatahay I tried to subtly ask 5Dimes support if this was the case while I was on with them about something else and they stated they aren't planning changes....but hey they wouldn't tell me if they were.

I won't get into too many details but this has the look of a rush job.

There was a problem in my account transfer to the new network -- I can login but balance shows as ZERO -- and the cust service while being helpful is powerless to do anything until Monday when they can "talk to the IT Department."

I question to preparedness of moving to a completely new network but not having IT Department (or whomever) staff on site to assist in any problems the day of the transfer.

This network is miserable. Doyle won't be able on it's own to make it worth a damn. Should have moved to Merge if they could have. Merge is on the way up.

No you can't because those 3 sites are all individual sites the only thing they share is the same poker network.
