Damn, sounds rough guys! I guess that is the nature of beta testing though... at least there wasn't a bunch of money on the line.

I tink the SBR poker client is permanently cursed until it starts supporting Macs. Just my opinion...

Just thought of this... Does the client take up any serious room?? Would it be ridiculous for me to just buy a really cheap Netbook or an old laptop with Windows just for free poker twice a week?

when i downloaded it took along time so i think it is more space than the other one.

I couldn't get the shit to work at all! I downloaded the software, saved it, tried to open it and and get it to run, the process would start, and two status bars would pop up. But after a couple of minutes, I'd get an error message, saying the program would not load or run.

And this concludes my beta testing of the new SBR poker software!
Final verdict: You guy got some work to do! Get Bill Gates on this shit! Spare no expense! Come on, how hard can it be to get poker software up and running? Fix this shit! Hell, just steal the software or copy one from you competitors, that's what everyone else did!
Oh yeah, btw Lou, you owe me 30 pts! That's a point for every minute I use trying to get this shit to work!

process for me is to reboot computer which didn't work, then re-download the poker site which also didn't work. I am a old man with no computer knowledge and this crap is very time wasting to me and it seems to happen over and over. When will I learn?

Maybe we could just set up an official "SBR points only" lobby tab in PokerStars or FullTilt?

I'm pretty sure PS or FT don't want to deal with sports betting forum.

That's a great idea! That way SBR wouldn't have to deal with all the buggy software issues and just put up a link to the Lobby and the password to get in! You could still run the points or prizes from here as well as any entry fees. Seems like a lot less hassle.

Online poker has a chance to be legalized or regulated in US.
Online sports betting, that's a different story.

Well they wouldn't have to be condoning it necessarily. I mean, SBR isn't a gambling site, it's a review site. It gives consumers information about sites like Bodog, which is primarily a poker site after all, right? ...I feel like there's at least a chance. And even if not, it can't hurt to throw some suggestions around can it?

pstars/ft wouldn't do it cuz they'd make no money. obviously.
