    Sportsbook Poker Rooms
Do any sportsbooks offer poker rooms that are anywhere near the level of the large poker only sites? I currently am only active on Bookmaker, but their poker is subpar at best. I like to play cards, but not often enough to play on a site that won't let me put my action on sports.

US facing sports books simply will not be able to compete with the two biggest US facing poker sites, Full Tilt and Pokerstars. As those two sites wish to remain in the legal grey area that is poker, rather than run afoul of the wire act, they won't offer any sports betting and aren't interested in sites that do. That leaves Cake Poker, Merge Gaming and Bodog. All of which have about 1/20 of the traffic of Full Tilt and 1/40th of Pokerstars. Bodog is of course it's own site. Cake Poker hosts A+ rated The Greek. Merge gaming hosts the Jazeel enterprises family of books (Sportsbook.com, Playersonly.com among others). As both Cake and Merge are turnkey providers they have many many skins to choose from, many host sportsbooks as well, as always do your due diligence in deciding where to play.

If you're outside the US, you'll have much better options, particularly with many major companies who pulled out of the US poker market after the UIGEA. The iPoker network is about 1/4 the size of Full Tilt and much closer to the level of the top two, and has many sportsbooks attached to it. The Ongame network is owned by bwin and is similar in size. Both of those are reasonable options if you're outside the US.

For comparison, I looked up where Bookmaker is, and they're part of the Yatahay network. Yatahay is about 1/10 of the size (based on peak traffic) as Merge, Bodog and Cake, so going to a book on any of those would be an improvement (though still not likely to compare to Pokerstars and Full Tilt).

Bodog is alright, but I don't like their interface. I play on Stars normally.
