when to jump to bigger stakes
I had been building my br from July till now playing tournys but the mayority has been from ring games
So far i only play the small stakes .05 .10 and .10 .25 with some incursions on the .25 .50 and a couple on the .50 1. VERY SUCCESFULL
i have crossed the first gino but i still considering moving permanently to other stakes.
i would like to get some oppinnions on how to move and what can i expect on the hier limits.
Thanks again for this web site forum that i always be thaknful since i meet wanderfull people and those git cards that helpme to build the br plus the freroll
It can be done.............never deposit !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!as no 1 here always suggets, it may take longer, but if you are good, does not matter, just proove how good you are.

if you are doing successful in the higher limits then i think you should continue playing those if you are successful, if you start to lose a little bit then drop back down to the lower limits so that you don't lose your whole bankroll

      100 BI's for SNG's/MTT

      40 BI's for Cash games

      Is the usual standard.

BI means "buy in" not Big blinds.. If you have 500 dollars you should play at a stake where you buy in $10 or so.

Only BI with what you feel comfortable losing, then don't lose it. Best advice I've been given.

                  wow , i m a degenerate player.
i have 600 br and i buy in for 100 at the time
mind you, it took me 20 days to build it up to this level.
i m going to have to come back to the 10 25 tables asap and buy in as you suggested

                        today i move down to .10 .25 and .25 .50
i did very well and on the way to make 1000 after that maybe i will start with the .50 1.00 tables again
the problem is that i play way to tight and i can not make too much money because the table figures that i have the big hands all the time
i guess that paying on the small stakes i will make the right moves because i do not have the pressure to win the hands i m in
the biggest issue that i still wrestling with is the tournaments, i can not make pass the middle of them, i get sleepy, and that is a big issue because it can give me a big push in building the br.

yea thats another problem with moving up stakes . you have to feel comfortable with moving up because you wont play regular if you dont. in that case you have to move up when you have the bankroll enough for you to play regularly and not worry about losing a little.

Bankroll management is only important when you are not allowed to loose all your money. If it's just a few hundred dollars you can play with a more aggressive bankroll management. I mean if you loose all your money on the pokersite you won't loose your house.
