3 card poker seems to run in a cycle, you can do some card counting and get a feel for when you're about to go on a run. I hit 20+ hands in row one night, before it cycled back to the dealer's side. I usually play all hands with face cards and fold anything below that. It's been work'in pretty good for me.

I need a king or better to play. That's my strategy.

Counting? But the cards are shuffled before each deal. Unless you mean counting in ref to knowing the other players cards at the table with you. Of course the casino doesn;t really allow sharing this information between players- openly at least.

Why is it frustrating online? Sounds fun. Difficult, but fun.

                      You're welcome.

It's not as fun as being in the casino risking money but it allows a person to play a lot of hands in a shorter amount of time. What that does is makes me realize how frequently all the supposed "bad beats" come along. Like when you have a straight and the dealer has a higher straight.

It helps realize when I'm at the casino risking money and I get a "bad beat" that it's not fixed or bad luck it just happens. I still remember playing 3CP with a friend of mine and we got beat hand after hand until I got beat holding a straight. He said to me "can't you at least be mad about it?!"

I realized it just happens by virtue of all the time I put in with the simulation.
