We will always try to help with poker disputes. A good sportsbook with a poker room will allow mediation right away. A party poker, that is not familiar with the sports industry, sometimes requires different courses of action like advising and speaking through the player and speaking to mgt in hypotheticals. We are looking at rating "sportsbooks with poker rooms" now. The most frequent poker Q we get is "Which book has the best poker room?"

PRR was a project taken over by another players' group about four years ago I think. We set up the website but didn't have the poker team to make it the resource we wanted then.

      What a great question.

I didn't even know SBR attempted to help w/ poker disputes. If that was 4 years ago, do you think you'd have the resources now? I think rating the sports book poker rooms would be a great idea. It's obvious that Tilt & Stars are the two big dogs out there, but there are so many more that would benefit from the exposure.

I think we do. SBR is much bigger and poker is smaller. That said, due to the nature of poker there are disputes that aren't cut and dry like they are in sports. Collusion is the biggest and it's a nightmare getting info from the book on their fraud detection, because it helps scammers work around if its out there... and trying to get the 2nd account info when the player claims he's innocent is a process.

I do think we can offer the information that our online gamers are looking for such as tourney schedules, volume, payout times and software reviews. A part of that is getting poker players in the forum to share. With a poker audience comes leverage and a desire from the larger poker hosts to work with us on disputes and offer things to our audience. It all fits together.
