played against the worst player in poker history
I have seen some bad ones in my day but this guy was the worst. He was playing every hand and calling bets all the way to the river with bottom pair, gut shots, over cards, etc. He was hot early making lots of 2 pairs and even got me for 200 when I preflop raised to 20 in a 1/2NL game with pocket KK and he flopped a boat with Q3o. At one point he had 1100 in chips. Even though I was getting my ass kicked that day I was going to play as long as this guy was at the table. It was just a matter of time before he started imploding. I don't know how many times I watched him call big bets with a four flush or four to a str8 on the board with top pair. He proceeded to lose all his money and then bought in for 200 more. Very first hand he is dealt of course he calls a raise and plays his hand as always, the flop is 10 8 8 and he checks other guy bets like 20 or something and he moves all in with 10 6 off suit. The other guy insta calls with pocket KK he gets no help and loses. He starts digging around in his pockets for more money and doesn't find any. He says he will be back. I was stuck about 600 at that point but no way was I leaving. About an hour later he comes back to the table and has a pretty good stack of 100's. Ok sweet game on. He starts playing and just starts getting his ass kicked really bad. I flopped a str8 on him in a limped pot and on the river I bet 100 into a 30 pot just hoping he had something and he says I gotta call because he rivered two pair. He is buying in for a 100 left and right and one of the few times he built up his stack a little bit this happened.......he moved all in for 300 with about a 100 in the pot and got insta called turned over his hand and said str8. But the dumbass misread is hand and only had 10 high while the other guy had the nuts. It starts getting late and we are down two three handed. Me and this other guy each took about 200 of him while three handed. The other guy left around mid night but the old guy did not want to play heads up. He the took the rest of his money over to the black jack table. Put all his chips in the circle and played one hand for all his money and lost.
