    New NL Strategy

So I've been playing really, really poorly as of late, so coming into tonight I decided to try something new at a NL ring game. I was playing .25/.5, and decided I'd try and see lots of cheap flops ($2.25 and less) with connectors, suited Aces, and suited kings. Come post flop, don't fall in love with top pair, as I usually have a crappy kicker, but don't get too much invested with draws.

It worked out really well tonight, and I'm hoping it continues. I would like some input from the rest of the board on their thoughts of my newfound strategy.

Mix your game up and don't play garbage too often. If you have a half decent player on the table you will get 3 bet every time you limp or call the small raise. If the table is letting you see cheap flops then go for it, but don't play too many hands.

Switch tables if it appears others are adapting to your game. Must mix up your game. Show hands as a disinformation campaign only! It is always good to appear a little crazy.... players become uneasy when they are out of their comfort zone.

Not if you know you outs, pot odds and implied odds..flushes and straights are a great way to stack a player

That's true especially in a 25c/50c cash games, players are more willing to pay you off with marginal hands.

i have been playing .10 .25 very tide and i got shafted a lot.
u changed my game to be a bit more aggressive and is working fine.
also, when i do not hit on any decent game for a while , i choose a different room, as no1here once suggested, and work fine.
the strange thing is that my bank roll of 3oo do not allow me to play ,25 .50 but i try it on 200 hands and let me tell you
                    i made 239 dollars proffit.
but i m scare to death at those levels.
i think that i can only visit those leves only when i have about 1000 in my bank roll.

-Create a bankroll you're not afraid to lose.
-Develop a style, play a lot of hands to do this.
-Go into ring games with no fear.
-Learn your opponents weaknesses and start pushing them around.

The best way to make a lot of money from people is to irritate them to a point where they will use their emotions rather than brains, that's how bookmakers make their money too.

You should be playing those hands at 50nl....a good target is 30-35vpip
I started doing this and saw a huge increase in my winrate..but get ready
for way more variance. I love playing seeing tons of flops and prefer playing
at lower limits for that reason. 35vpip in midstakes is probably not going to be
                          profitable for most players

will be giving too much equity just folding top pair constantly
