Initially there will be open play 7 days a week in the evening and tournaments on the weekends. Yes, it will be Pro only although we will have some non Pro tournaments in due course.

Hopefully real money will be involved, I rather play a guy or bet at a table $40-$80 just to get rid of the fukkin ants at the table. I like playing with big players.

Is there gonna be a write up as to how the software was developed? I'd be interested, particularly in security. Just for curiosity's sake. I found the 60 minutes episode about Absolute Poker having "super user" accounts fascinating. Would be fun to see everyone's cards, eh?

That is one reason we are restricting it to Pro's. Everyone playing will be a known poster with a real money account at a sportsbook.

As far as a write up about the development, maybe in due course if there is enough interest beyond you and me

. The game will be fair and we will watch players for collusion. Keep in mind that unlike a real poker company we developed our poker to draw people for the entertainment aspect. We are highly motivated to make sure guys are having fun in a fair game.

The software is being tested by a few volunteers so its not open to the public yet.

The first tournament is Thursday, a free roll where we give $500 away(sign up link at top of page). Then open play starts I think 2 days later. You need to be a SBR Pro to play in the SBR poker room.
