Double Up Sit N Go on Bodog
Does anyone play the double up sit and gos on Bodog? I have been playing them for a while and it seems that if you even halfway know what you are doing or don't get a run of terrible luck you can cash more than not.

Like to hear other's thoughts on this.

what are the double up, like double or nothing sit and go that starts started like a year ago? Half the players double up, other half lose?

If so I think they are the most boreing form of poker ever, and with the fees the edge you need is big just to break even.

If not I'd like to hear more, what are they?

Bodog is the worse when it comes to payouts and bad beats i used to play on Bodog all of the time now i go elsewhere. I would tell people to stay away from Bodog no matter the reason you are there. They also has terrible lines

completely at first bodog was the only place i play but now the only way i would play is when i want to play more than two or three poker sites at once, everything about bodog is for the site and not the players.and if u have seen its like a ghost town out ther opposed to all the other sites who are filled up

I do agree that Bodog doesn't have the players that other sites do. I personally, like playing at Full Tilt. Seems the players have a little more brains than at Bodog. And the rewards for earning points are MUCH better.

I also do agree that the lines are terrible and stopped betting there because of it.

I agree. I usually have 3 or 4 going at the same time...Sometimes they go kinda slow so having more windows makes it not as boring!

These are good for people that aren't good enough to win at cash... Simply fold everything for the first 4 levels and then go all in with big pairs and AK... U will win more than u lose and still beat the rake doing this but it's not how poker was meant to be played.

poker was meant to be played to win money. Texas holdem probably wasn't how poker was "meant to be played" the very first time people sat down to a table either.

gambling is gambling, beat the other person at whatever game you're playing.

In fact it's super hard to beat the rake at these. If your going to play tourneys, play MTTs. Nit it up the first four levels then just open up like a mofo from late position and steal everything. Be prepared to ship and flip wide, and you'll be binking decent tourney scores left and right.

But cash is where it is at.

Right after I posted this, I stopped playing the sit n gos because I realized that I wasn't playing MY game and playing to the table just to try to get that "double up". Went back to FT sit and gos and placed top 3 in 8 out of the 10 first games I played. Realized I enjoy it much more and obviously the payout is MUCH better!

Thanks for all your thoughts...Needless to say I am done with Bodog and double ups all together!
