not much going on, no big names making noise. Outside of men the master and mizrahi, there isnt much going on.

What about Lisandro, Dwan, David Baker, Allen Kessler, Juanda? Doyle is playing great as well as Cyndy Violette, Marie Ho, and Jennifer Harman. Many others doing just fine including Phil Hellmuth.

but they are not final tabling or winning. dwan had a lot of buzz for his 2nd place finish, bur it doesnt seem like the buzz is too big this year

he is now in the final 14 of the 2500 plo/nl tournament.

if he takes it, i think it will be his first in any type of holdem event

earlier he busted in 12th place. i do agree that no big names are final tabling like they have in the past, but maybe it just goes to show how big poker really is now and that the average "amateur" isnt really that big of an underdog anymore.

All the big name pros seem to be at this year's World Series so someone well known will probably make a deep run soon
