Just checked out the lobby for the first time in a long time. Place is a ghost town.

Thanks,

OK, everything is sorted now, right? The Bodog CS manger just told me that he was finally able to catch you on the phone.

#39Trust me, Bodog.com is not shutting down- in fact, Bodog had one of their best years in history in 2009. All of the Bodog Brand licensees, Bodog Europe (Bodog.co.uk & Bodog.ca), MMGG (Bodog.com), and Haydock Entertainment (Bodog88.com) are doing very well and have a ton of plans in the pipeline. Also, BodogBrand.com just purchased Slots.com so there are also upcoming plans for the female demographic.Originally posted by Fred ShowpanIf bodog shuts down will people with money tied up there get paid out?

#40im sure he did have his best year, since you took our bonuses away plus your customer service is the worst i have ever seen in any format.i think they read off a paper cause they have no idea what the hell they are talking about, saturday night i was going to play the freeroll and couldnt get on,even when i went to tournament lobby and hit join table it wouldnt let me on,and when i came back on and it said do u want to join the table,i hit yes and it wouldnt put me on.this is the fifth or sixth time this has happened and it seems bodog doesnt give two shits about there players, now i see why jean robert isnt talking to kindly about bodog.and why the better poker players wont back this site, maybe its time to find another line of work because u proved tonight that bodog had a great year but screwed there players and it looks like a ghost town out there, when i was dealing with cancer.i would play everyday for hours at a time and now i wouldnt invest anymore of my money into this mickey mouse sit.pokerstars and fulltilt sure doesnt treat and disrespect there players like bodog does.and u mentioned there will be a bodog party at sbr forum, imagine that with all the money he saved by taking away our resons to use bodog im sure he can afford it.and im sure within a couple of months u will probably get rid of the 2000pt bonus.this was a type of therapy for me as i dealt with cancer but now its just an aggravating piece of crap that he brought on himselfOriginally posted by BodogBeckyTrust me, Bodog.com is not shutting down- in fact, Bodog had one of their best years in history in 2009. #41One more thing I would like to confirm- Calvin Ayre does not run a gambling site anymore- he sold the Bodog.com operations to Alwyn Morris of MMGG in '06. Calvin retained the rights to the bodog brand name, so he is basically the franchiser of the brand name and his latest media project is CalvinAyre.com, an industry news, information and lifestyle "tablog". Have a look at BodogBrand.com, CalvinAyre.com or Calvin's wikipedia page for more details.

#42well i checked on something yesterday that proved that bodog is on the decline.went and seen who many players were on each site yesterday and pokerstars.fulltilt.playersonly.all the big ones had at least ten thousand and the highest was 23 thousand but when i seen bodog it was 2.347 players ,so what does that tell u.either they dont like bodog.bodog doesnt have incentives for their players.i know the rake is too damn high[sure they will raise that soon since they are a ghost townor they are on the decline and soon to be extinct.and since im not satisfied on how i was treated by customer service with the there piss poor attitude,im assuming they will be gone very soon.so not going to put any money into bodog .who doesnt care about there players but there bottom lineOriginally posted by BodogBeckyOne more thing I would like to confirm- Calvin Ayre does not run a gambling site anymore- he sold the Bodog.com operations to Alwyn Morris of MMGG in '06.
