Anyone play at South African sites like Silver Sands using rands as $ ?

First I get a no deposit promo from www.silversands.com or www.silversandspoker.com and then a few other South African sites gave me no deposit promos too.At first I thought they were playing in dollars and I started thinking,man,the limits are pretty high here.Turns out that they use rands as their currency and they aren't worth much.
