why can't you type .com on bodog chat box

Probably because they don't want people typing in links other than bodog's.

Online poker rooms have always have weird words censored from the chat box. IMO the funniest was back in '03-'05 if you typed "Gus Hansen" in the chatbox at Party they would X out the letters.
