Only site I am positive at is Bodog and I am up considerable amount there. Mostly play at Full Tilt as well, but find competition stiffer. Plus variance in mtt's is higher because fields are so deep, so maybe it just has some to do with that since I play mostly mtt. But, sng's much weaker on bodog as well.

Double or nothing SNGs are terrible. They basically are a nit fest with a bunch of guys who are scared to play shorthanded. A good player cannot achieve the same winrate in them as you can in other games. I don't get why guys who are good at poker even play them.

I have idea what "double or nothing" sng's are? I'm on the Merge network for now, and haven't even looked at any tourneys yet.

Double or nothing SNGs are ones where half the players win twice the stake.

while they do have a different feel a "good poker player" is one who wins, it doesn't matter how they do it. If someone can consistently beat DoN's at least 55% of the time, there's nothing wrong with playing them. It is a NIT fest, so loosen up when you need to, and tighten up when you need to.
In response to the original question, I've played on Bodog and Full Tilt, both mainly lower stakes-Bodog is a LOT easier. I'm probably their favorite kind of player, win other players' money in poker, and lose it back to them in sports.

I agree with this but my point is that a winning poker player is going to have a larger edge and higher ROI in a standard SNG rather than a double or nothing. I have heard the argument that the variance is lower in DON SNGs and that they are easier to multitable. Both of these things are probably true and this is probably why most people play them. I just would prefer a higher variance game where my edge is bigger.

Back in the day it was Party Poker. That place was the best
Full Tilt micro-stakes is a good place to make money but its a grind.
