    Great hand Tonight!
    1-2 NL 9 players

    Me: Pocket 10's

    Preflop I bet 15 trying to win the pot with no flop, but get 4 callers

    Flop comes Q-6-10
    early position bets 15 and me and 1 player call

    Turn come Q

    Early checks, I make a small bet with full house, 1 call, then check raise all in about 75 more.

    I am thinking I am up against Q-6 somewhere But I have to call.

    River comes 10 for my Quads! I put the last man standing all in and he folds (I was thinking what my play should be and almost timed out)

    He had Q-6 LOL

    Profit on the hand about $300 and change

    I promptly signed out! LOL

    Preflop: What position were you in preflop? You should raise 4x+4 or (4/5x+limpers) preflop. You're raising for value preflop as you're ahead of villains ranges not trying to win the pot outright.

    Flop: Raise the flop. You're getting called by KQ, AQ, QJ,QT, 98, KJ, 66 so you're missing value again. Slowplaying is so meh. In the future include suits of cards because depending on the board FD's are calling here as well.

    Turn: I 3 bet looking to call a shove from villain. Don't pigeonhole your opponent into having one hand. He could still have KQ, AQ, QJ, Qx in this situation and you're missing value. Sure sometimes he has QQ (unlikely), QT,66, Q6 (unlikely) but that's just poker.

    Here is the stove to show you what I'm talking about.
    ---
    3,960 games 0.005 secs 792,000 games/sec

    Board: Qs 6d Tc Qh
    Dead:

    equity win tie pots won pots tied
    Hand 0: 77.045% 77.05% 00.00% 3051 0.00 { TT }
    Hand 1: 22.955% 22.95% 00.00% 909 0.00 { QQ, 66, AQs, KQs, QTs+, AQo, KQo, QTo+ }

    ---

    River: What were your respective stack sizes at this point? If you overbet shove the pot and your stack is considerably larger than the pot it screams I HAVE A MONSTER. Try pot size or 2/3 or even whatever you think will make your opponent call/make a mistake.

    You shouldn't be signing out of these games if villains are calling with crap like Q6. I would be salivating.

      way to suck out on that one, always nice when you were ahead, then behind, and you catch your only out on the river.

          At the point I decided to stay in the only hand that could beat me was QQ, Q10 OR Q6, and although I thought it was possible, I really didnt think that is what they had. I was thinking A-Q or high pockets. I just had to figure if it was worth the gamble. I decided to go for it, but I still had a bad feeling. I was going to check the river until the 10 came and wasnt thinking right. I was watching a game on TV more than my hand. I know I blew the last bet, but if he would have had a Q he would have called and it would have been close to a $450 win.

              I was looking to make $100 for the night. Thats all. I had big bets on BBall and was killing time. I never play 9man tables. I was just looking for big cards.

                    I play plenty. I hit and run, when I dont play on playing hours. Again I dont care for 9seater rings.

                        Wish I had a hand like that. Last hand I had. Went all in after the BB bet 4x the blinds. I had AA, he called and we flipped. He had AA. So stupid. He got the flush and I lost....
