I was rooting for Ivey or Cada to win it all. But I just finished watching the FT just now and felt disappointed with the way he won it. He did not play well at all and to be honest both he and Moon did not deserve the heads up. Moon is like the stupidest poker player ever. No knowledge of pot odds, equity, etc. Basically, as soon as he saw any suited big cards such as K-J or Q-J it is an automatic all in. Idiot. Saout v Ivey would be mouth watering. I was impressed by Saout

Yeah what a crazy final table that was. Easy for us to critique their play with all the pressure, lights, and not to mention millions of dollars at stake. With that said, Moon put himself in horrible position by reraising with JQs in that last hand. Smooth call and see what the flop brings. With that flop it was an easy fold if Cada bets out. Why risk your tourney life with that many chips on at best a coin flip?

it was a bad call but to be fair hes tired of cada raising every button and tehres only so many times you can flat call pref and in another sense he made a good call having 1/7 of his stack in the middle and pretty much a complete coinflip

just watched this final table and i think the worst 2 players made it ti heads up. Not gonna shiit on them but Moon calling the final all in with QJ when he had 37% still left is crazy. Cada 22 and 33 sucked out on JJ and QQ, enough said. But congrats to them

Some of you guys are funny. Moon actually outplayed Cada when they were heads up prior to his auto-call with the QJ. His blind aggression is exactly what wins tournaments heads up. I'm not saying Moon is a good player by any means but if anyone should be getting bashed in this thread for his final table play, it should be Cada who got run over by the deck with 2 outers etc.

Cada essentially backed his way into the Championship of the World. It was kind of gross to watch.

Cada got really lucky there. Also agree about moon. HEs an amateur no doubt but he played well and mixed up his play at the right times. Not to sure why they are calling him an idiot other than the fact that he got lucky

No the money was not split. Yes Gold is a Donkey. Cada previously had two huge wins and had already purchase new home in Michigan before WSOP event last summer but did use WSOP money to buy a vacation home in Vegas. He was paid 2 million for wearing PokerStars gear which is a good thing because his WSOP winnings was split with another.
