    drinking and playing poker
    well i have won some while drinking and lost some while drinking i lost 2 games tonight maybe one was becuse i drank the other was dude had a higher str8 then me i dont think that was a bad call if i was sober i prob make the same call most pros won't even drink the night b4 a game what is your take on this i know this has been asked before but i want an opinion before tonights game i prob wont be drinken tonight maybe a steely but thats it after i win then the party starts

                          I like to drink when I am playing at Commerce at a live game but I can't do it online because then I make really bad plays. At least at the casino I have people to converse with and at home I just end up yelling at the computer.

                                          It all depends on the reason your playing.

                                          If it's just for entertainment and to have Fun, then have fun and why not have a few.

                                          If your playing to Win and show a profit, then I see a Disadvantage - No Advantage Situation.

                                          Either way Enjoy the game and do what works for you.

                                              I dunno. I guess I drink when I want to or when the urge calls. It doesn't matter if I am playing texas hold em or not. But I do have a 3 drink limit.

                                              I had a buddy who drank while he played. When he stirred in the morning, he would ask me to check his jacket pocket to see if he had any money. Well, his Mom checked his pocket and found he had $4,000. So she went around tellin everyone he won $4,000 at the casino. I knew it wasn't true because I was there when he cashed a $2,000 check so he could go make some money.
                                              My buddy was real happy. He thoughtt he had lost his original $2,000. That casino was feeding him so many beers, he couldn't sit straight in his wheelchair. He was at the table playing $100 chips on 2 seats.
