I would be in for this. I know that you can't make everyone happy, but preferably not at Bodog. Their chat box is minute and it's very hard to chat while you play. Maybe just mix it up and play at a different site every week?

Im canadian and I cant ever get on Bodog. The page always times out.

I can create tournaments on pokerstars if anyone is interested in playing on there. I've played enough on there to where I have an option in the lobby to create the tournaments. I can make them an hour out from when I create them. Minimum buy-in was $5 (+.50 rake) last time I created one.

You can also email support at fulltilt to create tournaments for you, which is slower than doing it yourself on pokerstars.

It's only really fun if we have 10+ people per tournament. So lets make a list of people interested in maybe a weekly/biweekly tournament? After we start playing, someone can figure out a point system and standings.

Bodog says they will do it as long as its kept track of, by a moderator. But theres alot of work to do to it.

I am in. Lets get the ball rolling. We need someone to take the lead. I have some free time if no one else wants to do it.

Lets get something going and we can take a a few weeks(pre season) to get the kinks worked out, and we can get a league set up and get going early next year.

I am working on a plan. Waiting to hear back from my contact. I will get back soon with the info. Probably start getting things put together the week after Christmas and will run everything by you guys if I can get this going. I have some good ideas on funding this thing. Anyway would love to hear your ideas and will do a brain storm before we get things set up.

I think I would only join if it were somehow associated with SBR in an official context.

Run tournaments every week, people buy-in with their own money or whatever, have standings, top 3 get points. Something like that.

SBR hosted a tournament on Bodog a while back, maybe they could do another.

I would also vote for pokerstars. You can get private cash games and tournaments. They also offer HORSE tournys. I didn't see where Bodog offers those. Just my 2cents.

ok....someone spearhead the operation. get some private tables on pokerstars or bodog and we can have regular tournaments for points that we put up before the game. that would be a lot of fun before we get a points poker system here.
