Won the 7pm again. Hi-lites:

*Won two big early pots vs Frank. Knocked him out, effectively doubled up after maybe 4 hands.
*Finally, a bit of luck on our side. 3-handed, I open w/ Q9. Flop is Q76, so some draws out there.

I C-bet, turn is ANOTHER queen, so I keep betting. Miklos was not super deep, so he chk-raises all-in. He could have a WORSE queen or maybe even a combo draw.

Turns it over. He has 77, for 7's full of Queens. He has me...but river is a 6!

I make a bigger Boat and knock him out. Was almost 3/1 in chips vs Slik and took him out.

Yeah dlow played really well, early in the tourney he had 97 vs my A7 and flop came K77, and he managed not to go broke, most players probably would have (perhaps that was also partly because I didn't play it as well as I could have, maybe should have bet bigger, but I didn't think he had the fourth 7, put him on a K). And then yeah the TT hand was pretty ugly.

Sometimes can forget how much short term variance there really is in this, still remember how mpaschal one year won all four tourneys he was in (8 - 0) but another year didn't cash a single one (0 - 8) - just fact of it all, can only do your best and remember you can't control the cards.

If u guys want to move around times, go for it. But I can say for a fact that DLow was doing nothing wrong. Just the Gods of Gambling toying w/ him and turning 70/30 into 30/70.

I don’t see any point in moving around unless you have to because you can’t play. We are only 1 point under the average halfway through. The variance is gonna be high for each player individually over 4 tournaments 4 handed.
