    Bovada refusing to pay me
Hi everyone. This is my first post and I only come here because Bovada has been holding my BTC withdrawal hostage for 17 days.

I deposited $30 on July 17 and came in 3rd place on the $28000 nightly tourney taking down $2200.

Since then, they have systematically delayed and refused my payout. They told me I was being investigated and disabled my account.

I have spoken to a list of live agents and none of them have given me anything. Finally, someone said the investigations team would call within 24-48 hours on Thursday. Well it's Monday and no one called. When I talk to their agents they say it's "an estimated time frame."

I'm beating my head into a wall. I filed a complain with SportsBook but have yet to hear back any information. What can I do to get my winnings? Am I just ******?

They took hundreds of dollars in deposits NO PROBLEM, how can this be fair/legal?

Fair/Legal.....haha....you’re talking about online gaming here.

I imagine they are doing one of two things (probably both at the same time).

    1. Checking to see if you don’t have multiple accounts going. Your small deposit will bring that suspicion.
    2. Waiting for your gambling itch to kick in and for you to lose the money back at the table or the Sportsbook.

If you’ve done nothing wrong, you will eventually get paid by Bovada. But the slow pay is normal with online sportsbooks.

It’s kind of like the movie Casino where the Japanese guy won a bunch of money. He’s set to leave, but his plane then has “problems” and the casino let him come back and stay for “free” until it was fixed. Sure enough, he gambled again and lost all his profits and then some before he left.

As for funding accounts....I remember several years back when I got some tickets to watch Johnny Football play Missouri Thanksgiving weekend. Not really invested in either team I decided to drop $1000 into a well established Sportsbook that I have used throughout the years (not on an everyday basis). The deposit on the phone (BTC wasn’t big yet) literally took less than 2 minutes.

I bet the over and it hit pretty easily as Johnny Football went wild that game padding stats for the Heisman. I went to cash out the following Monday and I had to provide all kinds of crazy information (Drivers License, electric bill, semen sample and probably some other stuff). The deposit was rejected twice and took over a week to process. They were just wanting me to have one more football weekend to lose it back to them.

Got to realize, it’s just part of the game.

Huh? Exactly how do you think someone can easily get a top 3 finish in a huge field MTT from chip-dumping? Were 20% of the players conspiring with him? Or am I misunderstanding what you mean?
