    BeerDog, good post.

BigDay has been on my mind a lot L24 hours. I've made a few donations. Like any long-time poster, I would do anything I can to help the guy.

One more idea for the poker guys. Maybe you forward any Poker Gross from the next week toward BigDay. I'm gonna do that. If I play an Ignition tournament tonite, will fwd any Gross winnings I get toward BigDay cause. Just another idea on how to help.
Where's the fuckin power box, Carol?

I want SBR to set a tourney up. Whatever buy in or maybe we could enter a "donation" and the buy in would be flexible for all?

Also we could send points to a mod in a thread, and get a password. In SBR's court now.

            Update from Mindy on caringbridge:

            Labor Day

Journal entry by Mindy McBride — 30 minutes ago
Today we had hopes for an MRI but each time they laid Andy flat he would lose his oxygen levels. The Infectious Disease doctor thinks that it will just take time to heal. The ID team also does not recommend continuing with the IVIG because of his kidney function. We are hoping to see his levels come down. He was 3.8 down to a 3.4 and normal high range is 1.5. His white blood cell count was 22, to 14, to 8 today.

We are looking at running a marathon not a sprint and am just trying to keep a good pace. We hope you all enjoyed your Labor Day weekend. To all of my educator colleagues and friends, may you sleep well and greet those students with an amazing smile. I am sad to miss the first day of school in my new role as Principal at Parkway Montessori and Community Middle School AND I can't wait to meet all the new students I will support. I did send a welcoming video to greet the students with.

Another update, sounds like Bigday is moving in the right direction!!

              First Day of School

Journal entry by Mindy McBride — 2 hours ago
This morning started out a little challenging due to being so far away from home. I watched Maisie load the bus from our door bell camera and was sent photos from Grammy Lynn. I also spoke with Elsa, which wanted to Facetime and I keep dodging that... she wants to see dad. I just don't know how many excuses I can make before she catches on. T

Andy's stats were really good last night. His heart rate is dropping a little which is good the last few days he was in the 100 range and now he is in the 80-90 range. They have been able to keep his blood pressure stable and oxygen stable with medicine therapy. This morning he even got a little bed bath (laid flat and rolled on side and stats stayed stable!). Yesterday we enjoyed the company of our neighbor and friend. Today two of his college buddies will be up to visit!

As the nurse and respiratory therapist was here to clean his mouth he opened his eyes. I walked over and told him all about the girls first day of school and he tracked me with his eyes, then he raised his eyebrows as I told him stories. Absolutely made my day!!!

Just a bump to let you know that BigDay is doing better in his home area but they still need your help. If you can donate points or $$, it will be very helpful for Andy and his family.
