Team USA Scheduling

Several days before action gets underway but no real point in waiting I think to try to coordinate so let's go ahead and start to do so!

If everyone who is on Team USA could list their preferences of when they are available to play for the four days, Monday August 6 through Thursday August 9, from 12:00 PM EST to 11:00 PM EST, that would be great. If your preferences are different from one day to the next, naturally clarify that - got to make sure everyone is assigned to a spot where they are able to play on each day.

Once everyone has done so, I'm happy to try to work out the overall schedule so that we have it made with all the time slots allotted accordingly.

It doesnt have to be the same time everyday, or it can be... whatever is easiest for everybody

Not sure I have any great advice, I haven't been terribly successful myself in World Cup before. But you obviously have the necessary poker skills - just keep on applying them and do your best, all we can ask!

It's just like the final 4 in a tournament or a 4 handed sit and go. Winner of each time slot gets 2 points, 2nd place gets 1 point for their team.

arun, not sure if you can still edit post no. 1 or not, but you may want to go ahead and take a crack at slotting players based on what you have, so we can get a look at what we're dealing with, and see if it flies with everyone or not.

Have already semi-done that, but problem is with two people being completely radio silent so far - what do I do with them? Just assign them randomly with no regard to what their preferences might be? Doesn't seem to be much point as assuming they do speak up, likely will have to redo it all.

Both have been active (logged in) today so wish they'd speak up, not sure why they aren't doing so unless they don't check their PMs. But this is holding everyone else up...

Indeed. Don't really see what we can do though - as I said, I PM'd them both twice, don't see what else can be done. Will post the schedule as soon as I hear from them.

Assuming I don't hear from one or both of them, will post best speculative thing I have on Sunday - really don't see another option...

If some of you want to PM them also, maybe more chance they notice? Again, what else can be done... Both of them don't exactly post often so not sure what else they'd see. Perhaps we can ask SBR to email them if that's possible?
