I'm pretty impartial here. And can advocate each side in many ways. But at the end of the day it comes down to what kind of a person you are Dlow and if donk means anything to you? Etiquette, Poker behavior etc really isn't what is in play here. Donk stated he made a error due to a software glitch and asked you for a courtesy in returning the said accidentally lost chips.
Your under no obligation to return them, you just have to ask yourself do I value my friendship enough with this person to let something stupid like points get between us. Dlo: I of course believe you that it was an accident, but I have accidentally folded/raised plenty of times playing SBR poker and not been reimbursed and I am just coming out of a prolonged cold streak. Tell you what I will run a poll and abide by the results because I'm not really sure what to do. I know it sucks but I also know that type of thing has happened to me and it's part of crappy SBR poker software, and I was no guarantee to win the hand. Our vote doesn't count of course.

You are too stupid to understand the vote and giving of points are two different things.
I can disagree with the "refund" from a poker table perspective but I like Autodonk and we have all made mistakes at the table that have cost us money/points. Given I have more than enough points for myself, I happily gave him some, with no strings.
AD then proceeds to donate the points to the Angelman charity out of the kindness of his heart.
