Jesus Resurrected: Chris Ferguson Resurfaces at 2016 WSOP
    http://www.pokerlistings.com/jesus-r...016-wsop-93411

Former Team Full Tilt member Chris “Jesus” Ferguson played his first WSOP event after a five-year absence late last night.

Ferguson busted the $10k Seven-Card Stud event last night but returned today to play the $1,000 Top-Up Turbo event.
The California-native declined an interview but didn’t appear to receive any hostility from the other players at his table.
Ferguson's last cash at the WSOP took place way back in in late June of 2010 when he finished 48th in the $2,500 World Championship Mixed Event for $4,573.

          Chris Ferguson Draws Four
          No-Limit 2-7 Single Draw
Chris Ferguson is under the gun and he opens with a raise to 4,000. It folds over to Schuyler Thornton on the button who calls. The blinds fold, leaving the two heads-up to the draw.
Ferguson peers at his hand and peels away four cards for the draw. Thornton lets out a laugh.
"I don't even know what to do here," remarks Thornton.
In the end, Thornton opts to take one new card.
Ferguson checks the final betting round and Thornton quickly checks back. Ferguson fans J 7 6 5 2. Thornton flashes a K before tossing his hand into the muck.
          Chris Ferguson - 96,000
          Schuyler Thornton - 39,000

          Chris Ferguson Quarters Ryan Himes
          Pot-Limit Omaha Hi-Lo
Chris Ferguson raises from the cutoff, Ryan Himes calls from the button, and Joey Couden calls from the big blind.
They check to the turn on a Qs 9h 5c 8c board where Himes bets 12,000. Only Ferguson calls to see the 7c river. After about 30 seconds, Ferguson shoves for 34,300. Himes mulls it over for a bit before he calls.
Ferguson shows Ah Qh Jc 2d for top pair, top kicker with the nut low, while Himes turns over As Qd 6c 3h for the same top pair, top kicker, but with the second-best low.
Ferguson wins three-fourths of the pot.
          Chris Ferguson - 80,000
          Ryan Himes - 70,000

Chris Ferguson Eliminated in 19th Place ($4,069)

          Omaha Hi-Lo
Chris Ferguson opens with a raise, leaving himself with just 1,700 behind. It folds around to Paul Volpe in the big blind and he raises, putting Ferguson all in. Ferguson calls and the hands are turned over.
          Ferguson: Ah 6d 5s 5h
          Volpe: As 10d 9c 7s
The board runs out Q 9 2 3 9, giving Volpe trip nines for the win. Ferguson hits the rail and his elimination prompts a full redraw to the final three tables.
          Paul Volpe - 380,000
Chris Ferguson - Eliminated in 19th Place ($4,069)

He helped start Full Tilt Poker and eventually turned it into a ponzi scheme with his pals Howard Lederer and Ray Bitar. Ferguson alone funneled roughly $60 million of player funds into personal accounts and to date only 14 million of it has been seized by the DOJ. If Pokerstars hadn't bought Full Tilt hardly anyone would have gotten any money back. Not to mention his actions set back legal online poker in the US at least a decade.
