They changed all the registration openings to 12:01 for whatever reason. Just exacerbates the problem.

Helps out night owls, but no, doesn't fix the problem. Ways to fix it have been suggested, until they're acted upon it is what it is apparently.

It happens....I doubt you're going to see that change for anything short of a significant buy-in, which would probably keep many people from entering in the first place.
