Lol! Yep! Kinda hard to get a poker game in, when half your state is in the worst fuk'in drought of the century and the other half is on fire!

It's a nice idea to petition for 50 entries each tournament. I'm sure SBR wants it at the 40 mark for a reason.
Everyone is still use to entering a tourney 15 minutes before the deadline. That's not going to work anymore.
Just organize your daily life's schedule and pick one of the 3 time slots. It sucks... it's only for pts... but it's the only thing you can do.
SBR won't change it.
It's 4:33 PM Eastern right now. Both the 7PM and 11PM are open. Log on... and pick one. I don't see what the big deal is?

I just got home, more than FOUR HOURS before the 11pm and it's full. Not a "big deal", but it is what it is. Some people can't organize their life around SBR. I just don't see why signups can't start earlier, if nothing else.

Well SON OF A BITCH!!!! I cant play today either!!!
One thing is for damn sure, to make the top 100 one will only need about 400 points. I mean you have to be a PRO and only 120 players play per day.
samball, come on it is time to increase the limit to 50. It only adds 15 minutes to the tournaments

Is funny we had 5 tourneys per day with limit of 50 each and only 50 got into finals. Now we have only 3 per day limit 40 and in finals we will have 100

It's not that easy to just log in and big one for some of us. When I leave for work the tourneys aren't open yet. If they were, I'd register then. I have no access to gambling sites while at work. If it's a long day and get home late it's already full. So then I'm SOL!

If they could just set signup to begin 18 hours before tourney I think that would help a lot.

or they could have registration open for 1 or 2 hours before each tournament so only people who are actually online register
every time in the 11 PM there are a few no shows who registered early in the day and never came back

Still waiting on that "We're listening to your input and feedback" fuk'in response part from SBR. Amazing how you geniuses can get a damn "Beat the Prick" tourney up so quickly, yet trying to alleviate a real problem with the daily tourneys, seems to be beyond the realm of a simple fuk'in solution....add the 9pm tourney back in.

Following same pattern seen for World Cup series...first couple weeks everything was slammed, then it opened up a bit as people got bored. Same will probably happen here, could be the reason SBR not in a rush to add another tourney or more players

I don't get the West Coast argument for a 6pm local time tourney when they already have a Midday, 4pm and 8pm local time.
What is so difficult for you to understand that we're still at work during the morning, 12 PM, and 4 PM tournaments, and that the 8 PM goes too late into the evening for most of us? Staying up until 10:30 to final table in these daily tournaments is just not an option if we want to show up to work well rested.

The tourneys are find and the entrants are fine. All that needs to be done is to open up for entries earlier. Open them up 24 hours in advance and then no one can complain.

No tourney in the history of weeklies here has taken 2.5 hours.
Starting at 8pm you will be done by 9pm most days and if you happen to win, 9.30 to 9.45pm
You have a day time tourney, an afternoon tourney and an evening tourney. West Coast people are the very last ones that 'need' a new timeslot.

I finished 2nd in the 11pm (8pm for you) tournament last night and it was over 90-95 minutes in.. So by 9:30 your time. Who the hell goes to bed at 10pm anyway? Maybe when I was 10.

We need to bump it up to 50.
But I am not to worried since I easily secured my spot in the final 100 with a win last night and 600 points! Anyone above 400 points is guaranteed the top 100 if they are a pro

I get up at 4:45 local time to be at work by 8. Manage my investment portfolio in the morning and leave 45-60 minutes early for work. It takes me over 1 hour to drive 12.8 km to work some days.

This petition has about as munch chance of being passed/granted as does the petition to bring back that idiot Seeweed..........
I say we petition for something meaningful, like "fluffers" for each room at the bash, free of charge.....
speaking of the Bash, isn't it about time for an announcement?

I have kids. 2 of them. 4 years old and 2 years old.
I'm all for adding another tournament, preferably early morning to hit different time zones and give others a chance if they do work through all 3, but expecting SBR to cater to each person's ideal 45 minute time window is absurd. Especially when people are saying they don't have time because 8pm is too late when tournaments take 90 minutes. Hell, the sun isn't even down all the way where I live at 9:30pm during the summer.

Adding 10 makes it even more of a luckfest. Why not add 20 more seats, 1 chip per person and 25/50 antes. It would essentially turn into that.

to top it all off, then there were at least 10 auto-folders in the tourney.
poker in the current format is definitely broken.

We never said that some tournaments don't need more players. But that is exactly the reason why it shouldn't matter to add 5 or 10 places to each tournament. Most of the time the extra slots wont be used, but there is no reason not to offer up the poker to everyone
