#5I'm about even after running like god last night. 2 river gutshots against over pairs and 2 underpairs setting up or making a straight for big pots. Yesterday I would've voted unluckier easily but just like real world poker it evens out over the long haul.Comment -

#7I think it all evens out over the long haul for me. The only aspect I know I am unluckier than most is all in preflop hands where I am way ahead (pair over pair or AK vrs AJ type hands). No doubt I am way under in EV in these scenarios. I actually did a hand history study of all of my hands I ever played on Poker Stars. I submitted them to a guy on twoplustwo a few years back right before black friday... he filtered them down to only hands that were all in preflop using HoldEM manager, and ran a statistical test. There was somewhere just shy of a million total hands... not sure how many all in preflop hands there were. The results stated I was 2.6 standard deviations of off the normal in the wrong direction, which translated to me being in the bottom 2% in terms of luck. Yet I was ranked in the top 1% of all MTT players on the site worldwide in terms of profit/ROI, etc. Just baffled me how I could run so bad in all in preflop hands, yet still be ranked as high as I was in terms of profit. My stance on online poker being rigged has always stayed the same. I believe it is rigged, but I also believe the better players still win in the long run. They just don't win as fast as they should, and the bad players dont lose as fast as they should, if the RNG was truly random. Its all designed to keep the fish playing longer and the sharks from winning it all as fast. MAX players playing for MAX time = MAX rakeComment -

#20Poll seems pretty good, the people who picked luckier I can't disagree with. A lot of the people I see under unluckier I can't really disagree with either (though no idea who Fire is)
A couple who are in denial about if they get lucky or not, but seems pretty accurate. I fully expected everyone to say they were unlucky.Comment -

#23This poker software is an outright joke! Can't seem to ever catch a break and I've suffered some of the worst bad beats I've ever experienced in online poker. I've employed different strategies and playing styles and still get the same results. A lot of us have played here long enough to know what to expect and have seen this bullshit play out hundreds of times now. They should have a fuk'in motto, "Where pocket AA come to die"
Newbies and non pros get better hands, better runs and hit more rivers than any regular SBR pro. There's no fuk'in denying it and we all know the reason why.
Larger stacks will hit their card to bust out smaller short stacks every time on an RNG designed to end tourneys at a specific time.
The disconnects, fuk ups with registration, allowing certain players with no fuk'in ethics to play in multiple tourneys, absolutely ruins the integrity of any kind of true competition.
There's also the ongoing problems of ghost accounts, collusion, sbr employees who play under new or established screen names that seem to miraculously always hit their one outer.
As many times SBR has redesigned the Odds page, you'd think the poker software would see some type of improvement, but alas, same 'ol shit different day.Comment -

#24I play free poker on a site for a chance to win pizza. How can I not be in the luckier department. Bring on the pepperoni beeches.
Although thanks to me being stupid and taking a loan I haven't had one of those free pizzas this year....only 370 pts away and I can start winning pizza againComment -
