Flew there a few days after flights resumed... still remember the somber, eerie feeling vibe on plane heading out... AND, all the memorial tributes left all over the NY/NY casino.)
Have won far more often than lost while there and YES... the tourists are GREAT! For whatever reason, I've had sensational luck playing Aussies and Brits while there (sorry Opti !). And of course Asians are always welcome at the table! Loose SOB's! Always get a kick at the local guy sitting @ the table with his sunglasses on... always looking like he thinks it's the WSOP final table.
I have played the Bellagio 2/5NL (must move) a number of times... lots more 1/2NL all over Vegas. Was there the weekend they premiered those Pro Poker Tech electronic tables (Microsoft RNG) @ Excalibur. I won one of the freerolls they had (well, we struck deal w/4 players left -- 60 entrants -- Phil Laak had won the bigger won night before, he was a spokesman for em.) I must have been one of the few that LOVED those tables, and did great on them. (SUPERUSER!!!)... Played w/ Louie Anderson there... HOLLA.
I have kicked around the notion of moving out there; but all my family is East and we're all pretty tight.
