Holy fukk I'm so sick of the online poker situation here since BF I could really hurt somebody; Can't even play @ Bovada, ffs, and the jackoff Grand software is Win 8 phobic, apparently. And our jagoff politicos sit around with their thumbs up their asses or worse (like Gov Cuomo here, who is on record as NO ONLINE poker for NYS as he sold his $$$ soul to the B & M casino lobbyists).

Tony... if you're gonna roll out a new poker room ya gotta make sure it's designed/programmed to run worth a shit, pal.

Their software is crap.

They advertised in the sportsbook all day to play in the Sunday night freeroll. They even updated the message to say REGISTER NOW or whatever when it got closer to it.

I downloaded the software earlier, but then it booted me, and wouldn't let me back in. So I tried downloading on another computer to see if it would work there. Won't even download correctly. Tons of errors. They must know this but no communication from them.

Anyway, I pull up L.C. and before you know it I'm yapping w/ "Bob" -- I describe the whole dealio to him bout it'll DL but won't run... and he starts in with the Flow Chart troubleshooting 101 ("clear your cookies", he says... UNFUKKINREAL!, does this guy work for SBR or sumpthin'? Is he Opie w/ the fukkin clear your cache & cookies shtick?

) So.... I tell Bob I'm pretty tech savvy and that won't do ANYTHING but that's all he's got for me; So I tell him "after I do that and try to DL and the same thing happens WHAT THEN?"... he then just goes mute. Thanks for nothing, 5D Bobbo!

But, wtf, I got nuthin to lose so I nuke all cookies and all previously installed GRAND downloads and try again: great, now it won't even DL, ffs. "Network error" I keep gettin as the DL just shits the bed. Nice...

So I jump back on L.C. cuz I wanna bitch out Bob (ok, not really, I really am polite & civil) and "Tavo" is my new BFF. I explain the spiel again, he starts in w/ the same thing as Bob, I tell him to basically "check yoself" cuz that does nuthin and I've tried on 3 different browsers. He then tells me to hang on and I literally wait for ~8 minutes before he returns to tell me "we're still working on your request, hang on, sorry you can't download" and I then proceed to wait for another ~10 minutes before he comes back to tell me "we're going to inform IT and the Casino Team, what is your OS, and take a screenshot and send it to casinosupport". So I say"ok" and sign off BUT while I was waiting the thought occurred to me: What if I try to DL it from propbet (dot) com?

BINGO! DL'd and installed fine from there so obviously they're having trouble w/it from the 5Dimes(dot)eu servers... why couldn't Bob or Tavo suggest trying this?

Anywho... got there to see the last 5 finishing up that $500 freeroll (FYI: it had 354 runners paying out to 60. 51-60 got a whopping $1.70. 1st paid - $103.75, 2nd - $73.25, 3rd - $49.50). I saw that our very own oChroniCo finished #310. Some guy named ratholer77 finished dead last @ 354 so I have a strong suspicion that's POS69. *holla* Some clown named TouchMyBody finished 115 so thinking prolly tt or gummo.

The previous 5Dimes poker platforms had poor traffic and ridic rakeback nits that loved to fold to a $2 bet in 1-2 NL

Always hated the poor action there BUT payouts never an issue I'll give em that. Just never enjoyed playing such nitty games. Few tournaments were decent. But to call this Grand Poker traffic poor would be generous: only 20 some players and .50-1 was highest table going. Nothing goin on Sit n Go wise, per usual w/5Dimes platforms in my previous experience.

But what the hell... it's a new platform so maybe it'll grow. MAYBE. Not like us NY'ers have any good viable options. Least the one table I was watchin for a lil bit had some ACTION on it so I'll prolly dick around in near future and see where things go w/it. BTW, I thought the software was actually pretty damn good (options, look, etc.) THAT surprised me.

So head to propbet and DL it, yizzer. GL!

fyi, it said 354 but it probably was like one of SBR's tournaments. People register, then SBR's software breaks and won't let anyone log in, so you get a lot of no shows. I did register but couldn't play, and there were probably at least 100 like me.

Why not try to DL a fresh clean copy @ propbet on that other 'puter you were having DL troubles with and see how it runs now? Ya might just have a wonky version cuz they obv have issues with it. Fun personal fact, yizzer: When Full Tilt was just in beta mode (they didn't even have deposit options set up yet) they ran a number of 900 player freerolls that paid JACKSHIT! IIRC they paid out 4 places with 6 beaners being top prize. WOO HOO! The amazing thing is those 900 player freerolls use to fill up really fast... it was weird. Word of mouth on the boards bout their cool software was the main draw, of course.

So I play in my 1st one w/ 899 others w/stars in our eyes and it took like 5 hours (wtf!) and I come in 4th for $1. Holy shit I'm rolled!

The very next night I play and come in 3rd for $2 and I'm off to the Full Tilt races.

Shit... I coulda been Ferguson's inspiration for his 10k freeroll run, ya know? Ya never know, pal.......

I played in a few until I realized they take like 4 hours and first prize is like 10 bucks

I won one and then realized it's a huge waste of time.

I just logged onto the 5D sportsbook and they're still advertising the Sunday night tournament

I played in it. Got 32nd or so for like $3.25 A lot of AFKs and the server was lagging like nuts. Wouldn't do their poker room with your money until it runs smoother. And the avatars are cartoons. I had to take them off because it felt like Saturday morning when I was 8. Stay away. Add a 0 on the freeroll prize and I may reconsider. 2-3 hours for a coffee and donut is dumb.

finished 6 last night, but the site need a mayor infusion of traffic.
I like the software they use, and the random cheking for bot that is all over other sites the rake back and low table rake .
They say that more announcements will be coming regarding the traffic and promos.

Been cleaning up at the .25/.50 table Sin. Had a horrible March madness run so was down to my last $35. Current balance about $500 now just from poker.

i m up 400 from 50 deposit on Friday. I had played for about 12 hours total on the weekend, mostly .10.25 , and i ventured twice to the .25.50
The field seems to be to tide, and very charitable, I say this for the good donations from players.
