#2Yeah, I "hid" it in a forum bobbo visits regularly...your detective work is rivaled only by your integrity
As dense as bobbo is when it comes to most things, I don't think even he could deny you're bored...especially after you refuse to allow SBR to confirm or deny it

#3I was "bored" with our poker challenge, when my lead was near 3k. The last couple weeks I decided to let you catch up, to make it somewhat entertaining.Originally posted by Triple_D_BetI don't think even he could deny you're bored.
Our challenge reminds me of my high school cross country glory days. When I would be leading many of the 3.1 mile races by at least a quarter mile, then I would "fartlick" the competition: Slowing down to allow the 2nd place guy to catch up, then speed back up to open my lead again. My track coach wasn't to pleased with my toying tactics. But I always assured him I was resting for a strong finish, to get the all important win & points for our team.Comment -

#5Another terrible attempt at wit from bobbo. On top of that, it's hard to tell if you misspelled "fartlek" (and you're unaware of what a fartlek is), or if you're spelling it correctly (and are trying to describe another activity which you've discovered in your free time)Originally posted by bobbywavesI was "bored" with our poker challenge, when my lead was near 3k. #6Quite aware of the spelling & obviously aware of what it is, thus my perfect analogy.Originally posted by Triple_D_BetAnother terrible attempt at wit from bobbo. I prefer the urban dictionary: http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=fartlickComment -

#7I'm sure the urban dictionary is a better source than wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fartlek), Runners World (http://www.runnersworld.com/tag/fartlek), the Swedish language the term came from etc. Must be yet another case where almost the entire world is wrong and bobbo is rightOriginally posted by bobbywavesQuite aware of the spelling & obviously aware of what it is, thus my perfect analogy.

Wouldn't have correctly defined it, if I was "unaware of what fartlek is."

#9We agree on the second part...since you didn't it's pretty obvious you're a bit confused. But nothing new buddy, we know you're terrible when it comes to analogies, quoting people without messing it up, general poker play, attempts at wit...well, just about anything you try around these partsOriginally posted by bobbywavesIndeed.

#10No confusion, just prefer the urban dictionary sometimes. The only thing terrible is your poker play, as our challenge clearly indicates.Originally posted by Triple_D_BetWe agree on the second part...since you didn't it's pretty obvious you're a bit confused. #13Only received one point for winning race, meant to say all important point...The top 5 finishers from each team are scored and their finishing places are added up for the team score. With the lowest score winning.Originally posted by runner5kHow many important points did you get for those cross country wins?
I offered Tripe a running & swimming competition at the Bash, but he's obviously not interested with good reason.
Apparently you like to run 5k's.

#14triathlete now but ran my share of 5ks in hs and college. Hated the step up to 8k and 10k we had to do then. #15Not interested for several very good reasons. Not a strong swimmer, and while I'm a pretty good runner (and it would be amusing to see you spot me a quarter mile lead and try to win), "running" is pretty low on the list of priorities at the bash. Not to mention running laps around a track is boring as penetrate, main reason I only ran long distances in cross country and not track. I'm sure if you had to do it over again, you'd only run in invitationals where other teams couldn't make it so you'd have a shot at winningOriginally posted by bobbywavesOnly received one point for winning race, meant to say all important point...The top 5 finishers from each team are scored and their finishing places are added up for the team score. I'm sure there are things you're better at than me bobbo (making excuses, protecting your ego from reality, etc)...I've never claimed otherwise, just pointed out that you're considerably worse at several things (such as just about everything you do on this forum)
