    Help! $1,025 missing
Guys heres whats going on. I have an absoloutepoker account nickname is wealth. I had $1025 on my account. I swear on my life as well as my kids and my wife that I did not lose this money that I didn't play with it, I was waiting for friday (the 7 day hold from when I made my last cashout) to cashout again...I woke up today and found the $1025 missing, i immediately called them they told me that its from the same ip area as I normally login using...well me and my wife were out at the times they are saying someone sat in my account using my IP.. I have receipts to prove this. $1025 is misssing from my account, there is no hand history showing that I lsot funds, there is no transfer history showing I transfered money to anyone, but absoloute poker is saying my ip lost it it in bj..is this possible? Is there a way to get the funds back on my account as I have proof i wasn't home my computer is secure, and no one else has my login info?

Request a hand history showing the losses. Go from there, and keep demanding attention with customer support. Try some other poker forums as well, 2+2 always a good place to go for online poker advice. Good luck and sorry to hear about this.

          Hi inuk0923,

Most hackers won't just hijack someones account to lose their funds in a casino. The gaining entry to someones account, assuming they didn't just access the site or sportsbook from a place such as a library and leave their password stored, can be extremely difficult. Would have to assume someone that would go to the lengths of overtaking an account would be interested in profiting from it.

Unless someone decided to randomly target you, hijack your account, and lose the money in the casino for no other reason than to piss you off, I'm not sure what could've happened here.

Yea, I'm really pissed and I can't figure it out either. I swear to GOD on my CHILDREN, MY FAMILY, MY WIFE that I did NOT touch these funds. This account was only played using my home computer. Something is not right here, and I am demanding an answer they will not EVEN LET ME TALK TO A SUPERVISOR!!!!!! maybe $1025 isn't a big deal to them but its a ton to me. and, whats so hard about refunding me the money when I did not lose it if they are claiming that it was lost in blackjack...that means they didnt lose a dime to another player of it and are sitting on the funds...so WTF can i do to prove this, is there ANYWAY to get my money back? If worse comes to wrose, can I dispute all the money I have ever sent to them for being a fradulant company, or is it true they can get a USA collection agency after me? I want to be paid my money one way or the other.

Yeah, this would not fly as a movie script. "Fight Club" is more believable story than that.

I was going to recommend you get the casino locked on your accounts so there were no possibility of this happening again but, interestingly, in this post you are now looking for another pokerroom that offers blackjack? Should we expect another thread a couple weeks from you about someone from your same IP address rehacking your account at another site or perhaps another site stealing your money through their blackjack software?

I've never had a problem with AP and I've made a withdrawal once before.
