    Car Pooling

    Hi David

It is nice to come across someone who is such a poker enthusiast, like myself!! I first got started on PokerStars.com. Made a few bucks and figured I would start testing my luck in Niagara. Currently I head down to Niagara during the days (twice a week) although I will be available for evenings starting later this month. Perhaps we have played together before, I usually wear my Chicago Cubs hat (white guy, I am 33). I only work about 24 hours per week (shift work) so there will be times where I will be available for an all day excursion. Anyways I play about 30 hours a week on pokerstars.com and spend anywhere from 4-12 hours in the casino depending on how my day is going. (You know how it is). I would like to say my poker resume is as impressive as yours but I guess I would consider myself an “Up and comer” I would love to play with you and share some thoughts on strategy. I have my own car so I could drive, gas money would be 50/50 unless one of us hits it big…then gas is on them. We could also work out other methods of payment if you are game. Hope to hear back from you.

Glen Upwood of brampton good to hear from ya..I am a regular yes at the fallsview casino so if you have been there a few times youll definately recognize me, you wear a cubby's hat eh, i cant recall, but me i wear the same blue tight collerjacket and never talk to nobody while im playing...but my look is always the same..i dont make any friends while i am there with regulars, its not conducive for business...
wow talk about an ideal situation im at countryside and airport road though,i play like you same session times and same gas arrangements...!!! so were on the same playing field there, ideally i would like to go a couple times of the week, sounds all merry so far.... ;-)
its not really the superbest time right now for business at fallsview(midweek i mean) but come april may it will start heating up, and IM REALLY glad to hear you are playing and winning on pokerstars, the funny thing is I cannot find an angle ONLINE!! it seems i put a hundred or so in(pokerstars too) and by months end im right at a hundred or so, its so strange, guess im not as accomplished yet huh? but i can confidently say at 2-5 and 5-5 I have the highest win % of anyone i know who still plays 5-5, i am not a win alot guy i just play to win, 3 buyins max is my daily limit,i usu.buy in for only 300...500 if its donk paradise...and i am by no means a great professional yet, i am still learning how to manage a big stack better but my philosophies at a 300 buyin are second to none....at least at that casino, so when u go to casino do you play 1-2 or 2-5,or 5-5??
i have been playing now as my sole form of income for 2 years, and have kept detailed poker logs for over 44 months just to make sure i can make an hourly, i got a lease for 6 months from march-aug08 at niagara but it expired, and i am deciding what is my next poker step, i made 34,000 last year but i spent alot!! just about 1000 hrs, my bankroll now is just about 13,000, once i get to 20,000, i may be moving on the U.s or at least thats the goal...
well i am assuming you are playing 1-2 now, as i did for my 1st year at casino niagara. so yes IM pretty confident youll recognize me lol, i remmeber all the dealers frank,Vito and the hot dealer with the cones..you cant forget her shes so hot only hot one there..send me an email at apparition99@hotmail.com i dont check SBR too often,
i have alot of poker related questions for you, the reason i say this is becuase i need to measure what level you are on as a player should you so choose, you seem like a 'player' and i mean nobody likes to drive 75 minutes both ways to lose right?? and with some of my coaching i can have you playing at my level in no time, it will be more conducive down the road if things happen to work out...
      OR ....
you can do your own thing and just start making money on gas...!!!

either way...you have a real opportunity here...i have screened 2 applicants so far and they havent fit, logistics etc: and we are also positioned where rama is only an extra 10 minute drive...to go too..
send me a quick email and il be in further contact with you, i am a 29 s/w/m and im very easy going and very quiet in general, i dont smoke ,do drugs, i drink occ. say 3x a month, all my boys are getting engaged or married, its pretty sad...
      for them !lol
and my greatest attribute on a poker table is patience,I have my poker math down to a qwk science which HELPS, i know all double belly busters of the top of my head from no gaps to 2 gaps(pretty sad huh) postflop play is solid,my pyschology is top notch, ok pretty good id say, so that edge is something online doesnt offer me
i had the luxury of sitting on my ass for a few years and have watched over 4-6 months(duration in hours!) of tv watching and learning poker and have read 4 books, brunsons, hellmuth etc...send me an email let me know what ur position is on poker in general, if you want poker to ideally be a supplemental income.. or its just entertainment for you? and then il respond...
