25 tourneys per week

so 937,500 pts available for grabs

to ensure you make it youll need 12,500 thats a 100% lock

now only 200 people can play per day so to make the 75 you need to beat the other 125 people playing

soo a valid number to ensure your going to make it is going to be 12,500*0.625

So i would say if you make 7812.5 pts your 100%, although this is assuming 200 people play everyday and they are the same people. which is obviosuly not the case...

100% of making it is unrealistic. Like you said, the players change, almost everyone misses a few days.

So a better number to look at would be about 5000. I think the last qualifiers will be in the 4700-5250 range.

Excellent scenario , looking at this number maybe safe 330 pts per week or making a final table 3 out of 5 days. however, my goal is to make as many points as possible playing at different times to play with ll the possible finalist and make as many notes as possible.

In your case, with so many badges, it looks like playing all over the place just gives a lot more competitors a chance to see how the mighty Sinmiedo plays and make notes on you. ;-)

Seems waaay too much to me if you consider the teams cutoff points:
USA: 8990-> /18->*15= 7485 -> Thats basically where youd expect the new promos Nr.13 to be at.
For the other teams that number is: Canada 4665, Europe 3495, World 840

Now you have to guess how many players except for the top 12 of the teams we know are out there.
Thats somewhat more complicated and speculative.

To guess competition within the respective region ive been looking through most of the weekly updates to see how
much fluctuation within the group occured. Number of Players somewhere along the way rated in the top 12 but not in the final
team i found: CAN 3, Europe 4, USA 12. Didnt bother to look at team world.
(Muldoon, Adamho, akatdog/kross, shaunovery, taz01, zdenok, dee_jas,radhhooo/chili_powder,(the centaur),Ian,Triple_D_Bet,
ronpaul2008, mjag21, timmay, jdwars)
That just tells us what we already know: Pretty competitive around the US-Topspots.

If we further expect the decrease in points within the group to be somewhat linear, we get another 12 US players down to about 7400, 6000, by then the Canadians and some of the european top 12 will have mixed in and so on...
If it went that way, thered be between 30-40 US guys mixed with some european and canadian top 12 but it really comes down to guessing how deep the US-quality-player field goes.
In the scenario above theres a possibility that you need up to 5000 pts to make it, but its quite likely that within the last couple of places the field gets shallow and slightly over 4000 pts do it for you, imo.
Needing more than 5000 pts would mean theres 50+ "quality players" which doesnt seem likely.

If you think about it the way ticklz did:
In the world cup there have been 1125000 pts up for grabs right?
Of those points around 330000 have been taken by the teams.
If the above mentioned scenario hits, in this contest 400-500k points should be taken already by the top 50 players...
I think it makes sense to expect a lot of points to be taken by a pool of players who will play only a couple of times during the qualification period and therefore be irrelevant to the contest itself.

Im going with 4300 pts but as stated it really comes down to how many US guys there really are out there who got affected by the
world cup format
