I think less than 350, maybe even 250 per week. Team Canada averaged 311pts per week during the World Cup.

8800 points was the bottom of the US players that qualified, over a 14 weeks period, that is 628 a week. that will put you on the top 20, so I think that it will be a lot easier to see more USA players qualifying here. I think that on the same period any one with about 6500 has a chance to qualified.

def. this got 75 people not 48. and i assume all will play with diligence. i dont have the data on how many americans were left out of the ryder cup that "should" have qualified. that would lead to a more accurate cutoff but id say 4200 should get you in.
