#3I have played about 40,000 hands at Absolute. Here are my "goods" and "bads"
"goods"- They offer reload bonuses several times a week, so it is possible to always be working on a bonus. the terms are reasonable, and the bonus releases in $10 increments.
- They have a decent loyalty program wherein you can trade in your player points for merchandise.
- Frequent freeroll tournaments
- Good traffic
- Decent game selection
"bads"- They pay proposition players to play there at $3/6 and above holdem and $2/4 and above other games. Coupled with the tight-aggressive bonus chasers that frequent the site it makes these tables tougher than average to beat.
- The software is clunky.
- 9-seat full-ring tables (vice ten)

I believe it was Mike Caro who said that any 10 handed hold em game is a waste of time...there should be no more than
9. I prefer 6-max, but to each his own, right? The competition is definitely not as soft as, say, Party, but it could be harder I suppose. And there are indeed a lot of regulars that you'll come to recognize, whether or not they're props is anyone's guess...give it a try though, they do have a decent sign-up bonus, and poker is poker....just make sure you have pokertracker so you can scout a table before sitting there. Table selection is the single most important thing to keep in mind when trying to be profitable.Comment -

#7There are 3 versions of Poker Tracker: one for holdem, one for omaha (both hi and hi/lo) and one for 7Stud.Comment -
