#21. Read the league rules. Know your settings. Worse thing is going to the draft not knowing how your league is scored.
2. DO NOT draft a kicker till the last round of your draft.
3. Don't draft any Raiders/Broncos/Chiefs fuk them all.Comment -

#31. Stick to Running backs that don't split time. (Don't reach for Forte, Jamaal Charles)
2. Shy away from players are off serious injuries (Peyton, AP)
3. Try to Get Rodgers and his WRs Jennings/Nelson.Comment -

#4yeah digest the rules forwards and backwards. spend some time alone walking in the woods, thinking of how to exploit loopholes and where the market/league may be over valuing positions or players.
during the season, bookmark the best sites for local reporters giving fast info and get their twitter addresses ect. the first to know are the beat reporters using their inside contacts... NOT the big sports websites and stationsComment -

#7Remember the work is not done once the draft is over. I have seen alot of leagues won by picking up a guy or two in free agency that took over for an injury and performed way above expectations.Comment -

#8be active in free agency
avoid players who had a great season last year..but in general had average years...example...TE from new orleans, wes walkers, ron gron, m lynch etc..
avoid rookies who had great season last year..like newton.
The point is BUY LOW...SELL HIGH.Comment -

#11Fantasy Football Tips
If you are new to fantasy football here are the basics to success in fantasy football.
Rankings
Make sure to do your homework. If you do not read up on players you will not have
a competitive fantasy team. Do plenty of mock drafts and print or write out
your own rankings.
No matter how many expert opinions you may read, the bottom line is that it is your team
and nobody can make the picks for you. Take the time to evaluate the players and select
your targets before your draft starts.
Strategy
Depending on where you are picking in the first round, decide who you will target. Is it
an elite QB,WR or RB?
With so much debth at wr and Tight End do you want to draft an elite one or wait and select
your RB's and QB early or do you want Jimmy Graham or Gronk? All of these are important
questions that you must take into account when drafting.
Some feel you must get the running backs early and some owners always have the mentality
that you must take the highest scoring consistent player, which is a qb early as so many
teams have inconsistent running backs or have more than one option at running back.
Draft:
Taking risks in the early rounds could result in trouble and taking them in the late rounds
is a recipe for success. Drafting veteran players in the late rounds is not doing your team
any favors, because they usually don't have any upside. Take your chances on rookies,
and other young players with upside is the way to win.
Ther are no bad sleeper players in the late rounds because if they don't pan out, it's off
to the waiver wire. Don't be afraid to take chances late in the draft.
Training camp and Pre Season:
Always watch for holdouts, injuries, players on new teams. Fantasy owners should not read
too much into pre season stats. Most of the huge performances in the pre season come
from second and third string defenses.
Waivers and bye weeks:
Make sure you are aware of your players bye weeks. Don't just look to draft anyone, look
at your players bye weeks, look at the matchups and make sure your not drafting your backup
and bye week players with the same bye week.
There are always plenty of players on waiver, not of high caliber but loaded with hiddem gems
if you know where to look. Keep tabs on the top performers of the previous week or someone
coming off a bye week; if they are worth of a pickup don't be afraid to go after them.
Final notes:
Don't let your heart get in the way of your head. Don't pick based on who you like and who
you don't like. Don't pass up a player just because you hate a team.
Always know your league scoring system. Many leagues use different scoring systems and bonuses.
If a passing TD is 6 points instead of 4 in your league, you may value a QB higher. If there are
bonuses for rushing or receiving yards thats another thing to take into account.
Buy low and sell high.
When is the right time to buy when you are talking about fantasy players? The right time is when you
see a player is being undervalued. If the player is better than his current value, his stock
will eventually rise and show his true value.

#12Those are terrible examples...Jimmy Graham is an absolute stud. If you saw his stats the end of his rookie year they were just as good as he played all season last year. He was getting 9 targets a game and there is no reason for that to decline. Wes Welker has been good for many years especially in ppr leagues racking in over 100 receptions in 4 out of the past5 seasons. Looks like you need to do some more research bud.Comment -

#14don't reach for players, its okay to draft a QB 3rd or 4th round even 5th if need be. Fill up on RB's early. As a couple people already said don't worry about kickers and Defenses. You can pick up Defenses from waivers weekly dependin on matchups. and of course follow bye weeks.Comment -

#19Dont use "experts" mock drafts for research because they are not even close to how friends, coworkers and others draft. Your friends league will have the guy that picks nothing but Cowboys, then a guy who picks a kicker in the 6th round and 4 QBs in the first 8 rounds.Comment -
