Person who folded it says he wouldnt of had jacks or kings the way he played the hand. Board was Js8c7s8sKs I believe so only one hand beats him. He thought no way he would play Jacks the way he did because he would of bet differently on flop and if he had Kings he would of raised pre flop. Pushing all-in he assumed he had to have the nuts.

So based on what he said, I'm pretty sure that means he didn't have the straight flush. He didn't want to say, No, I didn't have it because then people would be ragging on that Russian guy even more for folding quad 8's.

WSOP/Rio/Caesars Entertainment have done a few things many poker fans/players disagree with like certain tournaments having bad structures or the dealers not being well trained and shitty, now the live stream sucks but the beauty of it is that everyone will still come every year and play in these tournaments because it's still the WSOP. HIGHLY doubtful Jack Effel and his crew are losing any sleep over their live stream.

believe it or not that jack link logo will be seen by a few hundred thousand less people becuase of the stream. it may even turn people off the product entirely.. i know marketing and what it takes

Everyone will be seeing that stupid Jack Link logo a million times during the Main Event. What ESPN gives back is coverage to a bigger audience to spread the game of poker. Remember poker PRE-ESPN? If you were a fan of poker it was so hard to see your favourite players unless you were in Vegas during the WSOP. Now look we have WSOP, WSOP-Europe and in 2013 WSOP Australia. All this coverage has brought in a few people (obviously online poker helped as well)

Soon we will have like in Tennis and Golf the "Grand Slams" of poker. 4 different WSOP's yearly + as time goes by the people who run WSOP will learn from the people who run the EPT how to properly broadcast a live stream. Over in Europe they actually have crystal clear live streams like EPT San Remo, Prague, etc.

I upgraded the Veetle TV plugin to see if it improved the stream and so far it has worked good, last hour I've sat here watching it with no problems. They are on break right now so no volume.
