Do any Romney supporters have a problem with this?
Or is it just the system?

So what? The kid worked hard on the field and on his grades. What his family is worth is besides the point.

Interesting viewpoint you have.
So the system should pay for his college even though his dad is worth 500million?
Now we know how the rich operate.
The dont spend their own money.

Romney supporter and no problem at all. Good athlete, good student ... it's the American way. If he wasn't black I bet Obama supporters would have a problem with it though.

Well of course they dont.
He drives a $300,000 car at 16 years old.
They have a problem with a single mom getting $100 a month in food stamps from the system though.

I agree. He earned his way in. But, it fits the MO of some to expect "the rich to pay for it".

exactly, people don't understand that ucla is a public university and it's funded by the state. no bench warmer especially from out of state should get a free ride. there are kids 10x better than puffy's kid that deserve to go. i'm a bit disappointed that ucla is doing a usc move right here for publicity.

The rich spend other peoples money.
Right wing blow hards have no problem with this waste and manipulation of taxpayer funds.
Yet they cry about how some broke lady living in a 1 bedroom section 8 apt complex gets $100 for food to eat.
No mention about crooks on wall street stealing daily.
Money talks and walks - how else could Al Gore and George W Bush get into Harvard with their super low GPAs. In a blind test, neither would be accepted. Back then most Harvard grads went to work for their dad's firm anyway.

All these movie stars in hollywood but California is in debt?
The rich are great at spending other peoples money dont ya think?
Couple that with the tax breaks, life is good wouldnt ya say?
yeah it sucks that people think this spoiled little brat earned his way, his dad must be so proud of his kid getting a free ride being the richest kid in school taking a scholarship from someone that actually deserves it...

P diddy will probably have a charitable donation of at least 54k a year. Plus if the son is really good at football and very smart the school offers a merritt scholarship so they dont have to waste a football scholarship

Sorry I don't get the point here. There are plenty of white lacrosse players with rich daddy's getting full rides at Duke .. and other Ivy league schools.

i think the kid should have offered to walk on. they are tying up a scholarship on him who doesnt need it, which only hurts ucla football. this is a ucla football issue, not a political one, judging on how bad they suck, they need all the help they can get.
