avril finds it amusing that the cubs have been among the worst home teams in baseball the last couple years. 2011 39-42 at home, 2010 35-46. yet for some reason milwaukee has been a ridiculously short favorite all 4 games in this series. avril doesn't mind taking free money betting against the cubbies.

the bronx bombers have won 6 straight in oakland. i don't see that changing tonight now that some of the bats for the yankees have come around, and oakland's bats are silent. ross has pitched well of late, but he's not a strikeout pitcher like nova.
