ok. I'm going crazy. I think I might drive to vegas! I think it will be fun. Anyways, it's 1680 miles one way. Will Sbr pay me back for gas? Also it will cost 300 round trip to drive, but 1 way will be 150 and that's all I'll have receipts for. How can I get back the full amount IF I drive
attn! Bash question!

#2Let's see. $300 buys you 70 galons of gas. Can your vehicle do 50 miles per gallon? If yes you got a deal.

#4Why the hell would anyone drive? It is only a 4 hour drive for me and no way in hell would I ever drive... 47 minute plane ride for me. I don't get why people drive long distances.. The most I will ever drive is to LA.. that is pushing it and takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes..המוסד

#5If your debating on getting there for cheap.... or looking to save money on something like travel there.. then going to vegas and gambling probably is something you shouldn't be doing...just my 2 centsהמוסד

#7Sounds like the man just likes to drive. Good for him.
I think SBR should reimburse him twice his receipts for 1-way, maybe adjusting for the tail-wind on the way back.Comment -

#12LOL mapquest tells me it's 34 hours for me. Having driven it I think that's optimistic. Mind you I did camp at the Grand Canyon for 3 days and stayed in Denver for a week. When I left Vegas I drove through Utah ( never again). I think 40 or more is probably accurate. My niece is driving down when the bash is on. I certainly won't ever do that again. The most I drive is 20 hours now.Comment -

#27Originally posted by IwinyourmoneyPretty much no hotels offer free airport service
looking at the above link looks like the list includes Green Valley (with an additonal stop at Mandalay Bay), Palace Station (stops at the Tropicana), Red Rock, Silverton (with a stop at Ceasars Forum Shop), Sunset Station (with a stop at the tropicana), Terrible's, and the always classy Ellis Island (complete with $5.95 steak dinners!)
Also according to the link above the only shuttle available to downtown is from Sam's Town so if you get the shuttle to Palace Station from the airport and another from Palace Station to Tropicana, where you could catch another shuttle to Sam's Town you could then catch the the shuttle to the Freemont Casino downtown... which is only a short walk to the Golden Nugget...Comment
