My reasoning here is becuse the iphone is just too do a lot of stuff on the interent, its good for the road or in the car, laptops are just not couch devices like an ipad.

nein. like was said before android will be on this bitch before the year is up. it'll still have tons of uses after that. i was able to get my hands on 4 of them during the fire sale. 1 to keep, i ebayed 1 already, and im gonna ebay the other 2 before christmas (hopefully with android on it)

iPad works on the couch, but also in bars, restaurants, churches, family gatherings, Vegas hotels. I pretty much take it everywhere with me since getting it two months ago. I was stopped a few days ago for a speeding violation, cop took about 20 minutes to write me up, but it didn't bother me, I was using my iPad most of the time.

It's totally worth it, and no the android tabs don't come close. It is the best device I've ever purchased.
