Both teams were disappointments but FSU has more talent and playing an instate game. I am leaning Seminoles.

Missouri -4.5 2 units
MO has more playmakers on offense. They played in the better conference this year while only losing to its best teams. Word has it that they are plenty motivated since they got snubbed by the Big 12 bowl tie ins because they are leaving for the SEC and want to show that it was a mistake. The major factor here is the stability of the coaching staff. NC's staff is either leaving or interviewing elsewhere. You have to wonder how much preparation went into this game. There's no way I could take NC here. Interestingly, the favorite is 5-0 straight up and ATS the last 5 in this game. I look for MO to make up for last year's bowl where they didn't finish and let Iowa hang around and win it.

New Orleans -7 1 unit
You just can't hardly go against them at home. Drew Brees needs just 305 passing yards to break Dan Marino’s record so the crowd will be pumped and they already have one of the best home field advantages in football. As a matter of fact, The Saints are 6-0 ATS in their last six home games winning by an average of 21 points in those games. Also, Saints are 13-3 ATS in their last 16 games as a home favorite of 3.5-10 points. I think they are playing the best football right now. One thing that concerns me though is their redzone defense giving up too many TDs. I also hate playing TD or more faves in the NFL so I'm going to keep this at 1 unit myself. Still though, I have to side with NO on a holiday weekend Monday night game. I have a lean on the over though and am thinking about a NO and over teaser even though I don't usually recommend teasing totals.

thanks for the picks Seer- following as always, but surprised you didnt take the points with ATL with their receivers healthy now and possibly grimes back- i also figured the line was a little inflated since the saints have covered so many games in a row but i suppose the public has to win some of the time

the fact that the last 4 games between these two were 3 pt games is enough to make me leery but I think NO at home on Monday going for a record and playing for the NFC South title and a 1st round bye is too much. They are just playing lights out. However, I am just putting 1 unit on it and that is my only other bet. I want to lock in some profit for the day assuming Missouri can keep this cover going. GL

well, I screwed up and let the WMich line get bet out of whack. I loved the +3 and I now check and find out it's at +1.5 most places. I didn't expect that. That has got to be sharp money so I'm going to wait til close to game time and see if the Purdue gets some square money late to push it back to +3. I like WMich to win outright either way and it's most likely a 2 unit play. In the other game I will be on NC St but not sure if a 1 or 2 unit. I'm reading up and checking on the latest news regarding the teams now.

playing with alot of house money in these bowls, on an incredible run so we'll see if we can't keep it going

Little Caesar's Bowl
Western Michigan ML +110 2 units
over 62 1 unit
Basically, it comes down to Purdue being without their leading rusher & starting WR on offense and also their leading tackler on defense & top punt returner on special teams. Neither team will probably stop the other all that often but I feel Purdue will be least likely to stop W. Mich. Western Mich played better Big 12 teams tough as well. The Michigan final score was no where near how close that game actually was and they only lost by 3 at Illinois who was a top team at that time. Purdue has not won back to back games the entire year. W. Mich has a top 10 redzone offense. I waited to late to bet it and lost some value but will stay with it. I like backing the home state team.

Belk Bowl
NC State -2 2 units
Louisville had a nice run to end the season but so did NC St. They showed what they are capable of by crushing Clemson. I think the Big East is the weaker of these 2 conferences as well. The main thing I like about NC St is their defenses ability to get interceptions facing a freshman QB. NC St led the country with 24 interceptions. Louisville will start 10 freshmen in this game and I think this will be too big a stage for them right now to play their best. One more major factor is Tom O'brien's bowl record. He is 8-2 straight up and 7-2-1 ATS in bowl games. That is no fluke. He knows how to prepare.
