Addai is still listed as Questionable, and Brown may get the bulk of the carries. I have both Addai and Brown, and don't know what to do, and just may leave them on the bench.
Ingram, well it is always a coin flip with him and Pierre. I have Pierre, and he might have a seat on my bench.
Simpson value drops, now that AJ is back.
Johnny White can be a sleeper in the future, if CJ don't succeed. I wouldn't start him this week.Comment -

Or drop Maurice Morris? I dropped Jahvid Best to get Morris back. I'm just not sold on Kevin Smith remaining starter for reminder of season.
I'm going to drop one to try and pick up Peyton Hillis off waivers. I need to know asap.Comment -

#1291TOYOTA TUNDRA – PICKUPS OF THE WEEK
This week, Yahoo! Sports fantasy expert Brad Evans looks at eight intriguing fantasy football players, and a defense, likely to be available on the waiver wire in fantasy leagues.
Caleb Hanie
Solid Buy (12-teams plus) Owners no longer need to fear the unknown after Hanie's breakout Week 12
Caleb Hanie(notes) (QB) Chicago Bears
Hanie made mistakes (three interceptions) and completed just 18-of-36 attempts last Sunday in Oakland, but he flashed significant fantasy upside. Against a beatable Raiders secondary and playing with a watered-down playbook, he finished with 258 yards and two touchdowns. Most intriguing, he rushed for 50 yards, a stat that definitely raised an eyebrow of many. Hanie is an excellent athlete. He moves well when flushed out of the pocket, exhibiting above average burst for the position. That skill combined with his serviceable execution in the short-to-intermediate field bodes well for his statistical contributions over the next several weeks, especially with one of the best check-down receivers in the biz, Matt Forte(notes), on roster. So does his schedule. With Seattle the exception, all of the Bears' remaining opponents – Kansas City, Denver and Green Bay – rank inside the top half in points-allowed to QBs on the season. Hanie, similar in style and substance as Christian Ponder(notes), could deliver useful, borderline top-15 numbers down the homestretch.
Kyle Orton
Solid Buy (12-teams plus) Tyler Palko's(notes) awful play almost guarantees "The Neckbeard" will face former employer in Week 13
Kyle Orton(notes) (QB) Kansas City Chiefs
In a twist of irony, Orton, marooned in Denver just a few days ago, could draw the start against former employer Chicago, a team KC beat out for the signal caller's services. The QB is a classic pocket passer. Protection is a must for him to be effective. When given time, he's proven to be a useful weapon, evident in his explosive start last year with the Broncos. With Dwayne Bowe(notes), Steve Breaston(notes) and emerging talent Jonathan Baldwin(notes) as targets, he could rediscover his mojo during the most critical portion of the fantasy year. However, because he will have to absorb a new system, his initial numbers could be very rocky. The Bears, after all, are familiar with his tendencies. Chicago, too, has shown some improvement versus the pass in recent weeks. Over its past four contests it has surrendered a generous 271.5 yards per game, but only five touchdowns. The Bears have also recorded 11 picks during that stretch. Orton is interesting, but don't expect splashy numbers out of the gate.
Maurice Morris
Solid Buy (12-teams plus) Vet an insurance policy that Kevin Smith(notes) owners must purchase
Maurice Morris(notes) (RB) Detroit Lions
Temporarily dethroned from the starter's job, MoMo could wind up taking first-team snaps this week if Smith is unable to go. Conflicting reports on the status of "The Director" have surfaced. A source revealed to Pro Football Talk that the rusher's sprained ankle was "mild" while the Detroit Free Press has stuck by its claim that the setback is a "high ankle sprain." If the latter is true, a multi-week recovery is likely, placing his availability this week in jeopardy. Morris is rather unexciting, but his PPR upside is significant. The Lions' Week 13 opponent, New Orleans, has allowed 3.9 receptions and 32.7 receiving yards per game to rushers. The Saints have also given up a hefty 5.5 yards per carry to RBs on the year. Consider him a back-end RB2 play in 12-teamers.
Roy Helu
Strong Buy (12-teams plus) To hades with Shanahan, say Helu to the rookie again
Roy Helu(notes) (RB) Washington Redskins
Burn me once, shame on you. Burn me twice, shame on me. Burn me three times, shame on Mike Shanahan. Helu, discussed in the space ad nauseum over the course of the season, is again the hottest pick-up in Fantasyland. Will he, like Ryan Torain(notes) before him, take a torch to your roster? If trusted, quite possibly. Any player coming off a spectactular 162-total yards, 1-TD showing against a rigid Seahawks run defense would normally be immediately added and inserted into owner lineups. But that's not the case for a Shanny back. As I've stated repeatedly this season, Helu, pound-for-pound, is the most talented runner on the Redskins roster. Blitz pick-up has been his only obstacle. Shanahan told the Washington Post that the youngster seized the moment and is confident he is "ready" to be a full-timer. Of course, anything that comes out of Lucifer's mouth should be taken with a grain of salt, but it appears Helu has little competition. The Jets, Washington's Week 13 opponent, are an intimidating foe, but with New England, New York (Giants) and Minnesota remaining, the former Cornhusker could supply quite the yield during the fantasy playoffs. Give him one more chance.
Santana Moss
Strong Buy (12-teams plus) Crafty veteran bound to benefit from useful end-year schedule
Santana Moss(notes) (WR) Washington Redskins
After missing several weeks with a wrist injury, Moss returned to the starting lineup with a whimper. Against Seattle he caught a mere four passes for 29 yards without a touchdown. Blame it on accumulated rust. With a game under his belt and an attractive end-season slate remaining against a number of exploitable secondaries – New England, New York Giants, Minnesota – he should return to the WR2 level in 12-team leagues. Remember, in five starts with Rex Grossman(notes) taking snaps earlier this season he splashed the end-zone twice and averaged a valuable 4.6 receptions and 56.8 yards per game. Receiver-needy shallow leaguers need to cast a line.
Riley Cooper
Solid Buy (12-teams plus) Uncertainty in Eagles WR corps could spell steady looks again for Cooper
Riley Cooper(notes) (WR) Philadelphia Eagles
Jeremy Maclin's(notes) slow recovery from shoulder/hamstring injuries combined with DeSean Jackson's(notes) devastating case of butter hands should keep Cooper a fixture in Philly, especially given the short week. The upstart has performed well over the past two weeks with second-teamer Vince Young(notes) tossing him the rock. During that stretch he's garnered 17 looks, hauling in eight catches for 146 yards and a touchdown. The anticipated return of Michael Vick(notes) may sour his value a little, but it appears that Cooper and Jason Avant(notes) are the only reliable weapons currently in Andy Reid's arsenal. Vick may not have the chemistry with Cooper as Young does, but the pair could foster an instant bond downfield. The receiver has netted a ridiculous 18.3 yards per catch this year. In Thursday's Battle of the Birds (vs. Seattle), Cooper could again take flight.
Jermaine Gresham
Strong Buy (10-teams plus) Insanely under-owned weapon should be rostered in more leagues
Jermaine Gresham(notes) (TE) Cincinnati Bengals
Gresham, standing at 6-foot-5, 261-pounds and blessed with bruising power and 4.7 40-yard speed, is an athletic version of Shrek. Despite his intimidating prowess, improved route-running skills and excellent on-field production – he currently ranks eighth in per game output among tight ends – many in the fantasy community have continued to give him the Heisman, indicative in his low percent-owned rate. Mark my words, those who don't add the Bengal for a stretch run will sorely regret it. The attention A.J. Green(notes) draws in coverage will continue to create opportunities for Gresham, even this week against the vaunted Steelers. Against Pittsburgh three weeks ago he hauled in four passes for 23 yards and a touchdown. Additional eye-catching performances against Houston (Week 14), St. Louis (15) and Arizona (16) are also very possible. Wake up and smell the points, people. Andy Dalton's(notes) safety valve needs to be mass-owned.
Matt Moore
Solid Buy (12-teams plus) Week 13 QB Plug n' Play
Matt Moore(notes) Miami Dolphins
In three of his past four starts, Moore has resembled the Carolina quarterback that finished the final four games of 2009 with an 8:0 TD:INT disparity. He's taken numerous shots downfield, locating his big-play receiver Brandon Marshall(notes) early and often. Since Week 9, he's averaged an attractive 8.6 yards per attempt, 230.3 passing yards per game while notching a 7:1 TD:INT split. Miami's Week 13 foe, Oakland, has performed feebly against the pass for much of the season. Stanford Routt(notes) and cohorts have given up at leat two passing touchdowns in nine of 11 games and the fourth-most fantasy points to QBs overall. At home and playing with supreme confidence, Moore could deliver points galore in Week 13. Count on him for at least 240 yards and 2-3 touchdowns.
New England Patriots
Solid Buy (all leagues) Week 13 DEF Plug n' Play
New England Patriots Defense/Special Teams
It's usually never a good idea to recommend a team dead last against the pass and relatively suspect versus the run, but the most futile of opponents can instantly change perception. The Colts, New England's Week 13 opponent, are on a quest to become the fourth imperfect team in NFL history (post-merger). Sorrowful offensively, the My Little Ponies have averaged just 13.6 points per game. More charitably, they've yielded 23 sacks and 21 turnovers in 11 games. Pats corner Kyle Arrington(notes) is in prime position to tack onto his league-leading interceptions total. Grab 'em and Pat yourself on the back later.
Other Week 13 Pickups: T.J. Yates(notes), Hou, QB; Andy Dalton, Cin, QB; Rex Grossman, Wash, QB; Toby Gerhart(notes), Min, RB; Marion Barber(notes), Chi, RB; Joe McKnight(notes), RB, NYJ; Jason Avant, Phi, WR; James Jones(notes), GB, WR; Johnny Knox(notes), Chi, WR; Jacob Tamme(notes), Ind, TEComment -

#1292Kyle Orton, QB KC – Well Palko was not completely horrible last night…on that last drive…until he threw an INT to end the game. The Palko Experiment is about to come to an end as soon as Orton gets a full week of practice (one can only hope). He’ll be a nice pickup and possibly play especially in Weeks 15 and 16 when he gets Green Bay and Oakland. With Bowe and Breaston just begging for a QB that can get them the ball when and where they want it Orton will have plenty of weapons to become fantasy relevant near the end of the season.
Keep an eye on: Caleb Hanie CHI, Jake Locker TEN, Tarvaris Jackson SEA
RUNNING BACKS
Players who shouldn’t be on waivers but if are, grab them: CJ Spiller BUF, Peyton Hillis CLE, DeAngelo Williams CAR
Roy Helu, RB WAS – Roy really belongs on the list above of players that should be gone, but if for some reason you didn’t listen to our advice last week and he’s still sitting out there he’s the frontrunner for waiver claims this week. Helu got all the touches out of the backfield yesterday scoring on nice run from moderate distance. We won’t guarantee Shanahan doesn’t go in a completely different direction next week but after Helu’s performance there’s no reason to think anybody but Helu will get the bulk of the work in Week 13.
Maurice Morris, RB DET – With news that Kevin Smith’s ankle injury isn’t as serious as initially thought, Morris’s shelf life might be limited. Morris came in after Smith went down Thanksgiving day and ruses for 39 yards on 7 carries but made most of his noise in the passing game as Stafford was unable to throw anything downfield. 9 catches and 81 yards later Morris had accumulated a total of 120 yards from scrimmage, a nice fantasy day. His value is tied directly to Smith’s ability to get healthy, and ability to perform on that bum ankle.
Kendall Hunter, RB SF – While Hunter didn’t have a breakout game by any means in Week 12 we’re looking towards the future here. With the 49ers playoff spot all wrapped up, it’s likely they will rest and/or reduce the reps for Frank Gore to maintain what little health his legs have left for their own playoff push. Hunter has performed admirably in limited action this year when asked
Johnny White, RB BUF – We’re talking Johnny White here as a sleeper waiver add if you’re desperate, or are depending on CJ Spiller to carry you into the playoffs. White is yet another UNC product (is it me or was it a good weekend to be a Tarheel in the NFL?) who played running back, corner and wide receiver at Carolina. his strengths as speed with size but may lack the ability to push the pile. He could earn more reps if Spiller continues to put up pedestrian numbers out of the Buffalo backfield.
Marcel Reece, RB OAK – Reese was the go to man in the passing game with all of Palmer’s WR weapons on the mend. Reece caught 5 passes for 92 yards on 7 targets. He’s not a week in and week out guy but somebody to stash especially for Bush/McFadden owners and those in PPR leagues.
Keep an eye on: Donald Brown IND, Marion Barber CHI (unless you’re a Forte owner then you need to own him), DJ Ware NYG, Keilland Williams DET
WIDE RECEIVERS
Players who shouldn’t be on waivers but if are, grab them: James Jones GB, Derrius Heyward-Bey OAK, Santana Moss WAS
Johnny Knox, WR CHI – Knox was clearly Caleb Hanie’s favorite target Sunday amassing 4 catches for 145 yards and a TD on 10 targets. Knox, who had fallen into fantasy obscurity with Jake Cutler behind center this season found his groove with Hanie and has a decent fantasy playoff schedule of @DEN, SEA and GB. He’s especially valuable in those leagues with TD yardage bonuses.
Greg Little, WR CLE – Little (another Tarheel) has shown up on Waiver Wire articles all season, only to provide his owners with a 5 catch 50 yard 0 TD performance the following week. Yesterday was no difference from catch/yardage standpoint but Little finally added his first NFL TD to his stat line. He’s got a brutal schedule his last 4 games drawing the Ravens D twice and Pitt once but the Browns will surely be throwing and he’s had decent chemistry with QB McCoy all season. He’s worth an add, especially in PPR leagues, but don’t expect anything more than what he’s been providing all season.
Brad Smith, WR BUF – Smith, who has QB eligibility in many leagues, turned in a 4 catch, 77 yard performance which included an impressive TD catch where he tipped the ball to himself over the defender. With Donald Jones out for the season, Smith lined up opposite Stevie Johnson, and should see some looks the rest of the way as Johnson garners most of the defensive attention. Smith also handles some kick returns and can be dynamic in that role, for leagues that provide points for kick return yardage Smith is a must add.
Harry Douglas, WR ATL – We told you about Douglas last week, and even with Julio Jones back in the lineup he still produced. Douglas had only 45 yards receiving but did get a score. He’s probably the 3rd or 4th option on this team, but with Matt Ryan playing better he has some Fake Football relevance from here on out.
David Nelson, WR BUF – He very well could be owned but this guy has had such an up and down year he might be out on the waiver wire. Week 12 saw him grab his 5th TD of the year and amass 5 catches for 47 yards. Nelson, as we know, is a huge target that works best over the middle as a quasi-TE/WR hybrid. He’s a tough matchup, outside of his Week 2 performance where he caught 10 balls for 83 yards and a TD he’s typically going to go for 4-5 catches, 50 yards and maybe a score. A decent WR3 or injury replacement and a lock for 10 points in PPR leagues.
Keep an eye on: Jason Avant PHI (Maclin?), Riley Cooper PHI (Maclin?), Chaz Schilens OAK, Arrelious Been, TB, Damian Williams TEN, Jordan Norwood CLE
TIGHT ENDS
Players who shouldn’t be on waivers but if are, grab them: Dustin Keller NYJ, Brent Celek PHI, Jermaine Gresham CIN
Week 12 was a fairly quiet round of games around the league for Tight Ends unless your name was Dustin Keller or Tony Gonzalez. From a waiver perspective there’s not likely a guy out there that’s going to make lot of noise for your Fake Football squad down the stretch. Marcedes Lewis who we suggested last week had the best opportunity with 12 targets but he dropped an easy, uncontested TD pass that really ruined what would’ve been a nice game for him.
Keep an eye on: Joel Dreessen HOU, Scott Chandler BUF, Jeremy Shockey CAR, Dennis Pitta BAL
KICKERS
Lawrence Tynes, K NYG – Tynes is due for a big game. The Giants have no running game to speak of limiting their options in the Red Zone which should lead to more Tynes opportunities. With a Week 13 matchup vs. Green Bay one would expect a high scoring offensive affair, and plenty of Red Zone trips.
DEFENSE/SPECIAL TEAMS
New England Patriots, DST – The old “who’s playing the Colts” strategy applies here. Even Carolina kept them to 19 points and produced 2 turnovers and 2 sacks, which is saying something for one of the worst DSTs in the league. The Patriots have a horrible secondary. The Colts have a horrible quarterback. It’s easier to overcome a shoddy secondary with schemes than it is to hide a terrible quarterback. I’d roll the dice with the Pats in a game that could won by New England by 21+.
Atlanta Falcons, DST – The Falcons turned in a decent performance (except maybe late in the game) vs. Christian Ponder and the Vikings. In Week 13 they’ll get another rookie likely making his first NFL start in TJ Yates. Yates won’t be asked to do a lot, so the Falcons will focus their pressure on stopping the run and take their chances with Yates throwing the ball wide. If they can contain the Texans rushing attack and get pressure on Yates they could be in line for a nice defensive showing.
Denver Broncos, DST – It’s fairly clear that HC John Fox is happy to go 3 and out 75% of the time which means he’s relying on his Defense to get the job done in Denver. And they are responding in a huge way. Their last 4 games (all wins) they have given up 24, 10, 13 and 13 points respectively. Sunday, they travel to Minnesota and face Rookie QB Christian Ponder who has played well for the Vikings but is not a huge threat. Adrian Peterson could indeed be out again limiting the Viking rushing attack. Denver and their defense will be in another low scoring affair that could be decided by Special Teams plaComment -
