Detroit dodges a bullet?

Yesterday their first round pick Nick Fairley went down with a foot injury. It has been reported the xrays came back negative, but he was wearing a walking cast, and has been sent to a foot specialist today for evaluation.
Any news from up in that area?

Bad pick in my opinion. Corey Williams is better, and DL isn't one of the lions issues.

Farley had foot surgery today, and will miss most of the preseason for sure.

This is bad for Lions fans. Fairley has bad work ethic which only gets magnified after an injury.
