Hello to everyone, first post.

I'm not an expert in women's soccer but Japan is definitely the value pick. This is 50/50, Japan are the form side and USA are the most successful team in history. But I have to agree with the CanuckG, Japan has the edge here with the underdog tag. France were robbed by the ref, Hope Solo clearly fouled the French Player. USA have been very lucky so far but the Japanese ladies have displayed top quality football and their confidence is high. I'm not saying Japan is better than the US women but just spotting the value. Yes the Swedish keeper made mistakes, but the mistake was created by Japans ability to keep possession and attack constantly. They won't need to change much for the finals, this is far the toughest challenge the US ladies will face, do not overlook the defense of the Japanese ladies and forget about the past record. This is women's sport, which means there is NO clear favorite, if you want to go with size and fitness.... the Germans and the Swedes? what happened?

Also I want to ask, I know there will be rain for this final, wouldn't you say this will suit Japan's game play more?

Japan wins and I'm not missing out on this value, good luck to all.

Great points. But look into Hope Solo's eyes and tell me she is going to let that team lose. There is just too much USA pride riding on this game for the biggest upset in Japanese soccer history to take place. We are going to play right through those little mid-fielders.

japan has proven they can handle height against germany and sweden. But Wambauch is very strong and Morgan is like a freaking sprinter , if she starts i like the u.s 3-1,

I respect USA W Team. They made me $$$ during cup. I would like to pick them to win the cup but Japan is a bad matchup for Yanks. Soccer is not like basketball or hockey. This is a 50-50 game and nice value on Japan+0.50. Good luck!
