Rafa had an interview before this warmup tournament talking about the first two to three matches being very important for establishing a rhythm etc, and I really feel like those were more important to him than playing the ENTIRE week right after his long French Open etc.

So while he's a true competitor and I expect this to go 3 sets either way, IMO you're better off waiting to back him now until Wimbledon. Good luck if you played it anyway.

Nadal just broke Roddick, now serving for set. There is like a 15-20 min TV delay, so this is really either in a tiebreaker or Nadal won the 1st set but it's funner watching.

I think Davydenko was the best bet of afternoon at -800 to -1000. He cruised to finals and if not for his 07 campaign would've been more like -2000 himself.

Yea, I figured it'd go 3 sets, I didn't think Nadal would take the day off but I anticipated Roddick giving a better performance than what he ultimately did.

Even with the final as is, I think the previous few rounds of this tournament were better spots for Rafa. Now that he's in the finals though, I expect him to win it.
