    Chris Young (Mets Pitcher)
    Guy throws 85 mph..

Throws straight over the top with little to no movement..

    Walks guys at times...

    Doesn't belong in league anymore...

I will be looking to fade Mets in near future with this guy on the mound..

He knows how to pitch, and has more movement than you can see on TV.

Funky delivery and hides the ball well. Remember when Pujols knocked his face off?

Greg Maddux threw 85 mph and was one of the greatest ever. movement of the ball is a greater asset then speed.

Certainly looks hittable tonight, I expect the phils to put a few on the board before young comes out

he is 6-10, something about throwing from that angle makes you much more effective. 4 years ago he was only throwing about 88-89 and his home ERA was under 1 at Petco.

Young gives up too many walks and can't control the running game but batting average against him as always been very low. He has only given up 10 hits in 21 innings so far.

Maddux threw about 90 in his prime though, Young maybe a better 85mph than Maddux was because of his size

The Phillies will make him look respectable tonight.. just like they did in his first start of the year...

his other two starts were against the Nats...

The VERY under rated Jon Garland and the Dodgers will pound this guy next week...

                      Projected Line:

                      Dodgers (Garland) -125
                      Mets (Young) +115

A double to the number 8 hitter and nearly an Extra Base Hit to the pitcher. All i've seen from him so far is fastball and a changeup.... i cant tell the difference.

Maddux got 6 inches off both sides of the plate...

Maddux ball would move 6 inches..

Maddux threw 3/4 and "short armed" ball...

Maddux would walk one guy a month, this guy walks a guy by the 4th inning...

While I agree that Maddux is a poor comparison, the poster who brought up the guy's arm angle at 6-10 or 6-11 or whatever has a point.

                                  Very True...

Mets offense way more dangerous right now..

Rollins' age is starting to catch up to him...

Howard is one dimensional, helped by park.. (can you imagine if he had to hit at citifiield)

Utley was most likely major "juicer"..

Ibanez was the biggest Juicer, pretty much done..

These young fukks they are bringing up have long loopy swings..

Polanco is a stud, can't knock that guy...

Why don't hitters do more against Chris Young?

Fallacy. The guy is not a gas can. He's solid. Not a great pitcher but he's a decent #3.

You can't throw over the top, 85 mph and last in MLB..

The guy's been in the league 8 years and made 139 career starts -- how much film do they need to "make adjustments"?
